Woodys Lawn Sprinkler & Landscape

Sounds like this company used to provide great service based on the reviews (which is why we picked them in the first place) but unfortunately they have gone down hill in recent years. I would highly recommend moving to the next company on your search. There are many great competitors out there that will give both great service AND complete the job correctly. In no way bashing their company BUT please do your research and simply skip this one. Don't make the same mistake that we did. :(

At first, the measurements weren't quite right but the correction was made.

Mike, the owner of Woodys was extremely responsive to setting a time to come look at the yard and provide me an estimate. Although he was late for our appointment, he called to let me know of his delay (which neither of the other two landscaping companys who came out to give me a quote did - although they were both very late). During his initial visit, he explained that when setting the pipe for the sprinkler system his company does not use a pipe puller but trenches for the pipe and why. He also stated they would either lay seed or sod back down over the trenched areas. Although Woodys was the last company to come out to view the job, his was the first quote I received, again making the company very responsive and professional. Upon selecting Woodys to complete the project, they were quick to schedule the job, working around my schedule of when I would be home. They worked long days and were extremely fast in installing the sprinkler system (a Rainbird); clearing the back yard area and spreading river rock and pea gravel in the remaining area of the back yard; relocating a wire fence; and removing a large pile of branches and lawn debris. The materials Woodys uses are top grade and the landscapers were great about cleaning up the work area at the end of each day.Once the project was completed, Mike took the time to go over the sprinkler system controls and set the schedule to ensure the seed, which was laid down over the trenched areas, took. It's been close to two weeks since the project was completed and grass is already starting to grow. It should be noted that although the estimate did not seem to include the seeding, when I asked Mike about it, he stated he would make sure to include it, even if it wasn't in his original estimate. Finally, Woodys provides a five year warranty on their work, which is very unusual to find a warranty of that duration.I have gone from one of the worst kept lawns in the neighborhood to one of the most admired! I've received numerous compliments from my neighbors and love spending time in my back yard now! Thank you, Mike and your team for the wonderful transformation!

Always on time and very professional.  We have never had any issues with their service and everything is always in working order when they leave.  They even brave our crawl space, which is not a pleasant place to be!

I'm not one to write reviews, so if I do, that in and of itself means something. These guys rock. Totally professional. Enough said?

It was great they got it done on time and even got the new roses in early.  Looks great!!

They finished the job about week and half ago. They did a good job, and their receptionist was super nice and really helpful all the time. I would recommend them.

Mike Woods was involved through the entire process and beyond.  He came to our house for a quote and helped me to design a new front and back yard.  He had a great vision which turned out to be stunning, including giant mossy boulders, rock design, new sod, mulch, sprinkler system and everything in between. 
I had a hard time getting in touch with other companies, but Woody's was on top of everything, constantly keeping in touch with me about any concerns I had.  Everyone from the front office to the team of landscape professionals were amazing.  Customer service and quality work were the two things that stood out most with Woody's. 
We were shocked at how seamless and organized this entire process was.  There was nothing to stress out about, as everything was organized, neat, and respectfully done.  Mike's company is truly a cut above the rest and you won't regret a thing.  We now have the most beautiful yard on the block, with an amazing Wow! factor.  The price was also better than other comparable companies.  Thanks Woody's for a job well done!

Half of our backyard lawn had died from the previous summer and we were tired of dealing with the mud (especially with our dogs).  In March, we started calling around to get the yard re-sodded and get a sprinkler system installed and were on a bit of a tight schedule for getting this done (due to a trip we had planned).  We were upfront with Mike Woods about this and he took it seriously and made it happen fast!  They got started within a week (of accepting the proposal) and everything was all done within two weeks (due to some uncontrollable weather issues -- they were doing this in mid/late March and had to work around the frequent rain and snow storms we were having at the time).  (It was also amazing how early in the season they were able to get sod -- this was in mid/late March and stores didn't start carrying sod until several weeks later.)  They were always friendly and helpful (for example, they let us keep several extra rolls of sod!).
We know he's been really busy this season because of the unusual weather we were having (multiple times he helped us turn off/on the sprinkler system when an unusually late freeze hit) but he still always gets back to us in a timely manner whenever we have a question about anything.  Because of the unusual freezes, we had the faucets crack a few times, and when we let him know he'd have it fixed within a few days (once he did it so quickly that we didn't even realize he'd done it already).  The warranty is also a great deal -- it's nice to be working with someone who knows he's selling a good product and is always there to help make sure it works as it should.

They did the job as requested.  Excellent service...

Mike is very nice and professional.  He always makes sure that every thing was done to my satisfaction!  I will definitely use him for other services.

The entire project went well from start to finish.   As I refined our landscaping designs, I emailed them to Woody's and they responded quickly with answers, questions and suggestions.  Once the design was finalized, we selected Woody's from among other contractors for several reasons including, experience, knowledge, professionalism, schedule, pricing and flexibility.  The project took six days with three workers doing most of the work.  The Woody's manager was there daily to coordinate and inspect the project.  The Woody's team was very efficient and stayed on the job and completed it excellently.  Afterwards, the crew cleaned up the work area and surrounding areas where debris had gathered and provided guidance for lawn care.  The Woody's team was impressive and did a first class job from start to finish.  I highly recommend Woody's and his crew.

Another company was going to charge me $1600 that Woody’s was able to fix for a couple hundred. Their prices are reasonable, and they do good job. Mike will also take care of all of our sprinkler work for several rental properties!
