 + -1 moreThe job began a few days after the scheduled start date, and was subsequently interrupted to allow me time to have a newly installed sliding glass door in the sun room to be stained and sealed. The completion of the floor job was scheduled around this, but delayed again due to the contractor's problems with another job that he had taken in the interim. The floor installation job was completed within a two-week period. I was happy with the results. The overall quality of the construction was outstanding.
Description of Work: An old hot tub that was embedded in the floor of a (14 ft. X 10 ft.) sun room in my home was removed by another contractor, leaving a large hole in the floor. I contracted with Williams Carpentry to replace the existing flooring by adding several new floor joists and 2'' X 6'' redwood planks. After installation, the redwood flooring was finished with semi-transparent wood stain and sealer.
