Absolutely amazing! Chris is so good at his what he does. I cannot believe that we cant clone him and his work ethic. He was incredibly helpful when it came to picking out things like tub fixtures and great with design ideas! Chris was always punctual. The guys he brings in to work for him are also punctual and professional. I just cant get over the level of expertise he brought to this job. I am so incredibly excited to have the project done and I will be hiring him to do my kitchen as well. He is a delight to work with and the standard of excellence is top notch! Thank you Chris!

Overall, the job went really well. We would hire Chris again in a heartbeat. He's honest, ethical and fair, and he knows his stuff. He's pragmatic and reasonable in what he tells you, and in his pricing. The quality of the job was fantastic. We could not be happier on that front. The only drawback was the timing. Chris is such a nice guy that he wants to meet whatever deadline you give him, and as a sole provider, that's often really impossible because he is juggling other work. (When you are an entrepreneur, it's either feast or famine, let's face it.) It goes to the old adage of the fact that it's best to "Underpromise, over-deliver" probably, but our only lesson learned was that Chris said he could meet a certain timeline, and he was not able to do that, by a long shot. (In our case, several weeks.) So, if time is of the essence and you absolutely HAVE to have something done by a certain date, interview Chris and see if it truly is a reasonable timeline. Because he is a general contractor, there are other subs involved, and he can not control their schedules, so that's something to take into consideration. The timeline issue was the ONLY drawback we had working with Chris. (He probably needs a good manager on his team to tell people NO when it comes how quickly they'd like the work done.) Otherwise, we loved Chris. He did an amazing job. We are SO happy with the end result, and we'll be a good reference for him for his future clients.

Chris was recommended to me by my real estate agent after our first GC walked off the job. Chris was able to pick up the pieces and get the job done for us. He is very upfront with the job and costs involved and was always professional to deal with. I appreciated that he did the job right and at a fair price. Will definitely use him again in the future!!!

We wanted to have our basement finished. We had about 600 sq ft of space we wanted to turn into a bedroom, bathroom and family room. We started the process by coming to Angie?s list to look for contractors with good references. We found many contractors with great references. We picked 3 of the top contractors in the area, per their reviews, and set up appointments for them to come bid our basement finish. Two of those three contractors set a time to come out and meet us to get a sketch of the basement and to visit with us for direction on the project. The remaining contractor referred our inquiry to a colleague of his since he was too busy to take on our job. With that being said, all three contractors (2 contractors listed on Angie?s List and the 1 that was a referral from a contractor on Angie?s List) showed up, took measurements and listened to our wants and needs. All the contractors were very friendly and knowledgeable. Through the bidding process all three of the contractors were very helpful and knowledgeable. The difference came when we received the bids. Since the 2 original Angie?s List contractors sub-contract out most of their work, their bids were significantly higher than the third contractor?s bid. The bids from the 2 original Angie?s List contractors were about 50% higher than the third contractor?s prices since they just have others complete all the work while they supervise. Since we are not in the habit of over-paying for services in order to pay overhead and extra profit to contractors, we went with the lower of the three bids (this contractors does much of the work himself). Chris was very friendly and my wife never felt uneasy about being in the house while he was working; this is a big deal since the 2 other contractor's were using a lot of subs and you don't have the "safe" feeling. End result? We have never been happier with a finish product. Chris did such a great job. Basement came in at budget. We are so happy with our new basement. It so nice to have the extra living space now. All of our friends love our new basement and are jealous of the quality and workmanship. It was such a smooth process and Chris is such a great contractor. He did sub-contract out some work, but only a few things such as electrical and drywall. Everything else was his great workmanship. We will definitely be using Chris again when we are ready to have the kitchen redone. He always showed up when he said he would. He was very good about communicating. I won?t go anywhere else EVER, and my wife and I have dealt with hundreds of contractors in our careers. So we don?t say this lightly.
