Dry rot, Water or Pest Damage Major Repair
Terrible experience with BoneDry. I have a rental property that had a water leak in the bathroom and I hired BoneDry for the remediation and rebuild. They promised they would stay coordinated and keep he down time between the remediation and rebuild at a minimum especially since this is the only bathroom my tenant has in their unit. We are now going on over a month since the demolition happened and thy still haven't started the rebuild. It has been a train wreck since the start and there is no sign of them finishing anytime soon. I do not recommend BoneDry for any repairs at your property, they are unorganized, incompetent and they operate with zero sense of urgency to complete the work.

After a horrible experience with Rock Plumbing, Heating, & AC that resulted in water damage to my ceiling and floor, I was hopeful that Bone Dry, the company they partnered with for remediation, would competently fix the issue. I should have just assumed they'd be on par with one another and saved myself the trouble. The first project manager, Maico, seemed very knowledgeable. He advised that the damaged ceiling in a large area needed replaced along with the insulation and the wood in the ceiling treated to prevent mold growth, parts of the floor replaced, and multiple other repair recommendations. He was happy to "write it up so that insurance would cover it all." Not a red flag at all. Once Bone Dry's office realized it was a repair for Rock, however, suddenly they only needed to scrape the ceiling and repaint. Funny how that works. The second project manager, JD, truly represented what Bone Dry was all about, unresponsive and entirely lacking accountability. The project stretched out over five months, during which I had to doggedly pursue follow-up from Bone Dry every step of the way. If you want a company that has a thorough repertoire of excuses, service levels that swing drastically depending on whether they're "writing it up so insurance will cover it" or stretching the dollars of their partner businesses, great practices like leaving your household items uncovered so they gather a layer of filth, ensures you get that lived in feel by leaving scuffs and scratches on new surfaces, and you enjoy calling, emailing, and texting numerous times to get a response, this should be your go-to. You should also enjoy cleaning and have plenty of time to take off from your job for the multiple days over the multiple months your job takes to complete. If you're lucky, you can shampoo your carpet after "someone else" tracks dog feces into your home. If not...perhaps pick anyplace else.
