Anthony Excavating & Tree Service

This company performed the work before we purchased the house and was hired by the seller. He used spikes to climb the tree which I have been told is illegal causing major damage to the tree. He failed to trim the tree properly leaving several dead limbs. The first wind storm caused a top-heavy limb to break and fall on the electrical lines and break the fence. I am now having to hire an arborist to come out to treat the damage caused by the spiking and to trim the tree properly.

((((WARNING)))) DO NOT TRUST ANTHONY'S EXCAVATION AND TREE SERVICE!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY UP FRONT!!! Do not pay any money until the Job is finished. If material is needed arrange to be involved directly with the payment of materials. Especially if materials needed are more than $100. This person has had numerous complaints against them. They use the telephone number 720-413-3721. I've experienced them not returning numerous phone calls for up to a week but can be forced to complete work if tenacious enough when calling. They have inadequate tools to complete any job that requires more than a shovel and rake. There are numerous complaints about them taking the up front money and never doing or showing up to the site. They claim customer satisfaction is their primary goal, but this is obviously a smoke and mirror trick as their service is only about evading having to deal with you. They claim to have 16 years experience, but can not understand how to properly do landscaping. And doesn't have the proper tools to accomplish the job correctly. Just watch some video on how to do whatever project you need and you will find you have more knowledge on the subject than he does. Anthony can be charming, but don't be fooled. He likes to make you angry when obvious confrontation has arisen to make you the bad guy. Stay cool when talking to him and when he gets angry you've got him cornered. Among other conning tricks just stay calm cool and rational. Question all statement he or his phone answerer makes. For example Anthony or employee tell you " Equipment is being delivered by the company." You say, "What Company? I would like to contact them to get a delivery eta" Their response is usually.. " I don't know". Stay calm and explain why I don't know isn't an answer for a true business.

He was horrible.  He did very poor work.  The price was great, but the work was lousy.
