AMERICAN GARAGE DOOR

American Garage Door accommodated my work schedule.  Called in advance.  Came right on time.  Worked efficiently and did a great job.  Service person was exceptional!!  Explained everything to me.  Will definitely use this company again if needed.

Scheduler called back very shortly after her lunch to schedule our appointment.  Response time was good.  They didn't have correct parts on the truck on the first visit, but the technician performed a temporary fix so we could still use the garage door.  They came back the next day, working around our schedule, & didn't charge any additional charges. Both jobs combined took about an hour.  Bolts & hinges were also checked, tightened & lubed, so everything should be good for another 8-9 years.  I would definitely use this company again.

Overall, this was a very good experience.  When I called, the person I talked to was very helpful, and they explained the likely cost of the repair and the time it would take to have a technician come to my house.  They offered to do a same-day service for $55 additional - an offer I took.  The technician showed up about 3 hours later, and quickly completed the repair.  The door works MUCH better than it ever has - so I am very pleased with the quality, professionalism, and responsiveness of this firm.

I would have given them a much better score on price if the full cost of the visit were disclosed during my phone call.  As discussed during that call, the repair cost $100, and the emergency service was $55.  However, what was not disclosed was the $100 was for parts ONLY, and the labor and such would be an additional $100+.  The price may have been fair and reasonable, but the surprise when the bill was presented was unwelcome.

Great experience!  Arrived on time and installation took less than 2 hours.  Overall, price was less than Lowes or Home Depot.  Would definitely recommend them!

Very fast and efficient service. Quick diagnosis and fix to our problem

The garage door was making a grinding noise. I called the company because I had used them before and they were rated well on Angie's list. They came the next day and fixed the door. I can't find the invoice so the date and cost are approximate.

Everything went very smooth. I was charged $60 / spring and $75 for labor which was competitive with most estimates and much lower than one other company's quote by $100. I can't speak for the quality, since I wouldn't know. Ask me in 5 years.

The experience was better than great. Turned out that Mr. Howard has a serviceman in the area and offered to have him drop off the keypad to save me the drive (of about 15 mins) to their office locations. In fact, he was originally going to have his receptionist drop it off at my house on her way home from work, but the serviceman happened to be close by. Brian Booth came to drop the keypad off. I had already paid for it over the phone with a credit card. As Brian explained to me how to install it, he was showing me as he explained. In the end, HE installed it. For no charge. What a great company. I wish I had more business to give to American Garage Door.

After looking through the yellow pages and BBB listings and making a few calls, we settled on American. They quoted a price over the phone that included full installation of the doors and opener and removal of the old doors and openers. We were very happy with their work.

GOOD JOB. CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME AND WERE DONE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE DONE. DOOR IS VERY QUIET WHEN IT OPENS AND CLOSES. VERY NICE PEOPLE.
