Trinity services came to my home in October, 2013 when my dishwasher started making a grinding noise. I allowed them to replace the wash motor and motor seal for $470.00. Now, in August 2014, my dishwasher is making the exact same noise. I contacted Trinity Services and was told that a motor should last longer, there was no way to tell if the problem was again the motor but I could pay $69 for a diagnostic / trip charge. I was told that even if it was the motor that, again, should last longer, their repairs, including parts, were only warrantied for 90 days and I would have to pay for another repair. No further options were offered and I'm not inclined to use them again.

I had a refrigerator that was leaking water. While the service technician diagnosed the problem he would not take the next step to solve it, saying that I should call a plumber. The issue was one of changing a bad connector from the water line into the refrigerator. That's all.I well understand such problems with union jurisdiction problems, having worked on a factory floor, but this was one step too many. I called my plumber who promptly went to Home Depot, purchased the right connector and then installed it. When calling for help with a leaking refrigerator I was not expecting to run into this issue of refrigerator repair vs. simple plumbing. A leak is a leak. I expected better from this company.

I also wanted to address the plumbing issue. It is our company's policy not to do the plumbing repairs as we feel that the plumber knows his job better than we do. Not to mention that they are properly licensed and insured to do that type of repair. We feel the best person for the job is the one who is trained to do the job, and I believe it would be a disservice to our customers to have one my technicians do a repair that they are not trained in. Plus our insurance does not cover us for plumbing, as we are an appliance repair company. The only thing we do that comes close to plumbing is disposals. We called them and explained what had happened and gave them the model number of our stove. They called back and told us that our controller might have gone out from what we had described and they gave us an estimate of what it was going to cost to replace it. We decided to go ahead and made an appointment with them. They showed up a couple of days later to replace the controller. The guy who showed up was very professional. He came in and replaced the controller quickly and cleaned up after himself. The price they charged was the same as the estimate. We have used them a couple of times and the appliances have been repaired quickly both times. They came when they said they would and their estimates matched their final price.
