 + -1 moreThey began drywall, ceiling popcorn removal and refinishing before Christmas 2012 and, as of today and $13,000 later, they have not completed their contracted work or could give me a time frame to complete it. It is a family run business and seem very nice but they are lacking in quality, commitment and their costs are prohibitive. I now have to hire another contractor to finish their mess in addition to the $13,000 I've paid for virtually nothing but a mess. Other contractors who have seen their work laugh. A little one here, a little done there, but nothing finished. My high rise is a secure building with video cameras and for eight weeks, the total amount of days completed for this price is less than 80 hours.
Description of Work: I live in a two BR/two BA high rise condo that needed removal of popcorn ceilings, drywall work, painting, baseboards, bathroom upgrades and three new doors. After 8 weeks, work was still not completed and I fired them. They were incompetent, never showed up and, if so, only with one worker. I do not live at the site but it is my home that I will be living in when completed. They wanted their money up front, which I paid, and shame on me. I fired them today after eight weeks of filth, lack of quality and completion and still wanting more $$. They are robbers. I would NEVER CONSIDER HIRING THEM OR RECOMMENDING THEM. A total lack of professionalism. I consider myself a patient person, but after 8 weeks and $13,000 for a 1200 square foot condo to still be torn up is unacceptable and I plan to file a formal complaint with the State of Colorado and the BBB.  + -1 moreVERY GOOD WORK COVERED UP VERY POOR DRYWALL JOB, WHICH I THOUGHT WE WERE GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE THE DRYWALLERS REDO. I REALLY LIKE THE TEXTURE HE DID ALSO.
Description of Work: COMPLETE DRYWALL TAPE AND TEXTURE IN OUR LOWER LEVEL OF A BI-LEVEL HOUSE. HE DID NOT DO THE DRYWALL INSTALL ONLY THE TAPING AND MUDDING AND TEXTURING.
