This was by far the lowest quote we found for this countertop; other quotes ranged from $7,000 to $11,000. We selected the granite in Denver, and it exceeded our expectations for the price range we were in. The work was well-done, but the installers did mis-read the plans for the rounded sitting area, and increased its size slightly (6"). The installers also did not seal the kitchen drawers off from the dust of granite, and several of our drawers did not roll shut correctly after their work. (Our kitchen cabinet installer worked to correct this.) Also, the installers did not in any way close off the kitchen from the rest of the house during the granite installation (which would have been easy to do), and we had granite dust throughout much of the house for many weeks afterwards. The granite installers were subcontractors and did not communicate well in English (native language may have been Italian or Russian, not sure). The finished work was beautiful. "B" grades due to dust only.

The salesman was very useful in helping me choose a listelle trim that matched the tile I had already chosen from elsewhere. They also gave me excellent advice regarding it's care and installation.
