Owner (Chetan) came to my house to discuss the project.  Was prompt, professional and helpful. Provided detailed estimate several days later.  Upon acceptance of the bid, a service tech came over for exact measurements.  It took about two months for the doors to be built.  The installation took one day - the installer was very good, did an excellent job of properly installing and fitting the doors, closer, all trim and hardware.

One of the screens was left off the original order and was delivered in a few days.

The doors are of excellent style and quality.

Good quality wrought iron security doors are expensive, but you get what you pay for.  Our front door is oversized so it was more expensive than a standard size.

Was very impressed with the overall service and quality of this company.  

They did a great job, super service. It took longer than I would have liked, but they were upfront with me regarding their backlog and worked to shorten the timing. Highly recommend.

The door is well built and a great value, especially for a custom size. Door hardware is of good quality to support a heavy door. There is no reason to purchase a mass produced door from a chain hardware store, you will get a much better product and it included the cost of installation. The installation was professionally completed and the door looks great and functions as designed.

They did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

One of the worst experiences I have had with a contractor.

I called Artistic Iron for a quote and scheduled a rep to come to our house to give us an estimate. He came on time with door styles and iron coloring samples. Since they were reasonable and comparable to some other places I called we signed an agreement. The rep said it would be about a month until installation. I had seen on Craigslist that one member had trouble with a delay in installation, so I put down as little as possible on the deposit. 6 weeks later, we still hadn't received a call to schedule the door installation. I called the rep and the office several times. They were pleasant and said it would probably be next week - 3 weeks in a row! I would have rather been told that the doors would be installed in two months then have to keep initiating calls to the company. Once they did schedule the installation, the technician showed up on time and was very professional. He did a thorough job of placing the frame correctly in a old, warped doorway. The door looks great. I would recommend this company but keep in mind that the installation time my be double what is promised.

I was told the door would be installed four to six weeks from the contract date. The installation was completed yesterday, ten weeks from the contract date. Even getting this required my calling three times. They offered no apologies and no explanations for the delay. It would have been completed three rather than four weeks late, but the door that was installed was not equipped as agreed in the contract. Were it not for the professionalism of the installer, who made sure that they delivered as promised, I would have given this company lower grades.

The office worked with me to set a time when the estimator could come out. He came out after 5:00 pm on a weeknight and arrived on time. The estimator was very thorough in explaining options available and their costs. After receiving estimates from another company, I went with Artistic because the quality of their security doors was higher and the price was comparable. Artistic worked with me to find a time convenient to me for measuring the existing doors after I signed a contract with them. They finished the doors, including the custom door, within the time they said. The installer was great. Very thorough, did a great job making sure the seals on the storm doors were tight but that the doors were easy to open and close. He even installed another lock for me without charge (I bought the lock separately) and rekeyed it to match the storm door. I'd DEFINITELY recommend Artistic!!!

Athena, the marketing representative, came to the house on June 8, 2006, to provide an estimate. We had an ad from a competing company which include instalation in their price. She matched the competion's price for, what we think, is a better quality door. She gave us a delivery date of 30 days. We signed the contract and paid 50%. The installer called and we set an installation date of July 5. He arrived early, which was not a problem. It took him approximately four hours to remove the old doors and install the new doors. He cleaned the glass on the new doors and cleaned up where he had been working including sweeping up metal chips from drilling, etc. He hauled off the old doors for recycling. We paid the remaining 50%. The doors have been in constant use for almost a year now. There have been no problems with either the doors, the locks or the installation.
