+ -1 moreHe said he tried to hide shoddy job. He installed a light correctly, but anything that was major wasn't finished or wasn't finished right. He was paid in full. I called him back and showed him the mistakes and asked him to fix them and he refused. The above price doesn't include what I paid the contractor after him to fix what he left.
Description of Work: He was hired to do restoration work in my home and it involved basic handyman work. It was counter work, trim work, minor electrical. The electrical work was not up to code. The kitchen was unfinished. The countertop was not attached. The caulk was clear, not the white. He was also to do a downstairs bathroom that needed drywall, a new vanity, water lines to the vanity, and there was a moisture issue where the drywall needed to be replaced. He didn't replace the drywall he just put backer-board up. He was supposed to do tile work in the shower. It was taken down to the studs and the wall he put in was uneven and crooked. He didn't have a tile cutter. The tile obviously looked bad.
