Greetings! I'm Desarae Buza, of Accent Painting by Desarae LLC. I created Accent Painting as a decorative painting business focused on creating custom murals and faux finishes for interior and exterior surfaces. Traditional faux finishes range from; soft glazes to intricate marbling. I offer several techniques, as well as fully customized faux finishes, including murals. Customized faux finishes can often be inspired by raw elements like rocks, metals, organic material and much more. The options are unlimited, especially with the variety of products available and the never ending catalog of color chips that seem to inspire design changes throughout the year. The variety allows for truly unique finishes, each specified to an individuals personal aesthetic or design preference. When I first called Desarae, I thought working with her might pose a problem as she lives in Pueblo, but she was very accomodating and easy to work with. After our initial meeting we decided that instead of taking the furniture to Pueblo and driving it back and forth she would complete the work in my garage. In total it took about 3 days for her to prep, repaint and clear coat the 3 pieces of furniture. She also made a small repair on the door of the armoire. These were pieces we'd purchased secondhand, they were antique white, but looked dingy and stained in the creases, so we wanted them freshened up for our daughter's bedroom. Desarae made them look like brand new and we could not be happier! She was always on time, professional and a pleasure to talk to and work with! We are very happy and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

A friend of a friend recommended her when I said I needed a dresser refinished.  She lives in Pueblo West but comes to Colorado Springs often.  She formerly lived in Indianapolis and said she was an artist and scenic designer for the Children's Museum there.
