We had pretty extensive damage to grout and caulking in our master bathroom shower and were considering a complete re-tile. Before we committed to such a costly and long project, we requested a grout repair evaluation from the Grout Medic. Bruce, from the Grout Medic, provided a quick and easy consultation and upfront pricing appraisal. We proceeded with the Grout Medic and are extremely happy with the results. Bruce replaced the broken grout with a new hybrid material that is better suited for this particular implementation, cleaned the grout, sealed the grout and replaced all the caulking. Now, 94 days later, the shower still looks brand new; all for a fraction of the price a re-tile would have cost. Bruce and Andrea were a pleasure to work with. We will happily return to them should we need any further tile grout and caulking work.

The service was excellent and was completed in less time than expected. The grout in both bathrooms looks as good as new. Bruce was punctual and very professional. He left both bathrooms immaculate. We could not be more pleased with the service.

Bruce from The Grout Medic removed all of the old grout that contained mold & mildew, then resealed all caulk and grout areas with a special mold & mildew sealant. The job took about 3 hrs and he cleaned up afterwards. The price was much cheaper than we expected and I was able to use a $25 coupon as well. Both Bruce and Andrea were very nice to work with and I would definitely hire this company again.

The service was better than I expected. Both the salesperson and the installer were very polite, professional, and friendly. The work done made the shower look like new, I was really amazed and pleased with the way it turned out. If I need this kind of service in the future, I will not hesitate to give them a call. I would also highly recommend their services to friends or family.

Last week the technician came and gave me an estimate cost for the job, and set up the date for the work to be done. He gave clear directions about letting the shower dry out prior to his arrival, and arrived just as scheduled. His work was carefully done, and took less time than I had expected. He cleaned up after the work was competed which is always good. The shower looks brand new, and simply gleams! I am so very pleased with the work of this company. The cost was a bit more than I had expected, but the result is perfect. I was charged what was estimated, and received a 10% deduction for being a member of Angie's List.

Both ends of the experience were excellent. It started with the initial phone call and scheduling. This was handled politely and without a hitch. The estimating process was thorough and I never felt pressured. I didn't feel like there was any attempt to add on services I didn't want. The final estimate was broken out in line item fashion so it was clear where the costs were occurring. A few concerns I had as we toured the bathrooms were included. Bruce also gave an overview of his business (BBB status, etc.) and showed some before and after pictures of previous work. When the scheduled service day arrived, Bruce was on time and fully prepared. He spent about 1/2 day working and kept me posted throughout. When finished, he took me on a tour of the rooms and pointed out everything that was done - including some no charge extras. There was nothing left for me to have to clean up. Bruce is clearly a perfectionist. He runs his business like a true professional and presents the kind of personality that ensures comfort for the consumer. If you're looking for this type of service (grout sealing and repair in my case), I would highly recommend this franchise of The Grout Medic.

The contractor was punctual and respectful. He removed his shoes without asking. Went over the work to be done and made sure any questions we had were answered. He was working upstairs, removed from the primary living areas of the house, so he made sure we knew we were welcome to check on the progress and watch anything and ask questions. As he completed phases of the job, he provided regular updates so I knew how it was going.
I forgot at first to ask him if I could get him some water or anything, and he was very gracious when I apologized for that later and finally asked him and then he only asked for some ice water. He explained when he had to wait for something to dry and would go outside to use the phone or whatever. He was very personable and polite. I did have a couple questions and he answered them completely and nicely. We ended up chatting a bit and seems like a very nice guy.
The tile work was done very well, with little mess, he cleaned up after everything. He asked me to check the completed job and if I had any last questions. I am very happy about having clean looking tile again (previous owners had obviously used pre-mix when getting ready to sell and now we know to avoid using that ever since pre-mix just doesn't last long before it starts discoloring and molding). We are glad to know this grout will last much longer than before and don't expect to need anything done within the warranty period, but it's nice to have. The estimated time & cost was right on and he happily honored the Grout Medic coupon I had from some mailer or another. Overall, a great experience.

Overall, the service was fine. Initially, there were a couple of issues but they were very nice about coming back and fixing them. They were very responsive and were willing to work with my requests. The owner was very nice throughout the service.

Grout Medic first scheduled an estimate. After agreeing on the price, they scheduled a service. They were prompt, efficient and very professional. The Grout Medic tech completely cleaned out the old caulk and cleaned the surfaces. Then he applied the new caulk. He then explained, in detail, how to take care of the new caulk and offered suggestions on products to use that would help keep the caulk in good condition.
