BECK'S PLUMBING & HEATING

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Not only do they charge significantly more that other companies, they are rude and try to take advantage of single moms. I used them because they came recommended by someone who used to have a plumbing business. Their price was much higher but my friend assured me they would stand by their work so I could rest assured that it was money well spent. It wasn’t. When they were doing the installation, the two guys that were here called me to come downstairs to tell me that some thing was gushing water everywhere and that they didn't cause it, it couldn’t be fixed and needed to be replaced. When I had looked at everything when they got here, everything was dry/no leak. So somehow in 45 minutes after they were here a gushing leak sprung. The replacement would be almost $400 and they didn’t do it. The owner showed up and I told Matt that was unacceptable and he found out that it was really just a rubber O-ring that needed to be replaced because it broke when they pounded on something. I was upset at their attempt to take advantage and told Matt so. He didn’t seem to really care but was just relieved it was fixed. That was a couple of weeks ago.. Since the hot water heater replacement, I haven't really been able to take a shower for longer than five minutes. I haven't wanted to deal with them again for obvious reasons but I also wanted them to complete their job to customer satisfaction so I called on Monday and the lady said that Matt would come out today and look at it. When Matt called me he said that isn't something that is a cause of changing out the hot water heater but that he could come and give me an estimate for new work. I said why would I pay for new work when this wasn't an issue prior to changing out the hot water heater and he said that I'm just looking for problems. He also accused me of saying "you're going to regret this" when what I was going to say was "you're going to accuse me of trying to find problems"? but he cut me off and said he regrets doing this job. I ABSOLUTELY regret hiring him.

Arrive as scheduled. Replaced 40 gallon gas hot water heater in basement in timely fashion. Protected floors and other parts of home. Hauled off old hot water heater.

Talked before matt came out gave me one upfront price didnt charge extra for anything he was here to fix my problem, and that what he did. Very fast and proficient. I was paying by the hour which was actually 250 less than good guys plumbing that I called For an estimate. Needless to say I went with becks plumbing. I am so glad I did, he didn't try sell me thing I didn't need. But their is this we want to add. So I will definitely call becks plumbing everytime I am also passing his name name and number to my friends, because everyone needs their own plumber!!
