+ -1 moreI brought a Sears canister machine in for repair. I waited 3 weeks and after repeated calls I was given a list of 5 parts that needed to be ordered from Sears, and told that I should get the parts and then they would install them. The parts alone would have cost $120, while a brand new power head from Sears would have been $161. I took it upon myself to take the unit apart. The diagnostic job they had done was all wrong. I needed a new motor for the unit and that's it. I needed none of the parts on their parts list. And to add insult to injury, Aardvac never responded to my letter telling them about this experience.
Description of Work: They incorrectly diagnosed the problem; took 3+ weeks to do so, then suggested that I order the parts myself and bring the unit back once I had them.
