He only charges you if he can help you. If he thinks it's cheaper to replace it than to repair it, he will tell you that so we would just have Home Depot or someone replace it. His charges have always been fairly reasonable. We've had oven elements burned out and we've had glass cook top elements replaced. He does all brands, ranges, cook tops, ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and refrigerators. One time on a stove although our warranty was over, he called the manufacturer and told them that it was an item that he felt should have been under warranty because of the kind of defect so we had the part replaced for free. It's like having your own brother. We've been with him for quite a few years now. We may have started out just in the phone book. In fact he is so good and so prompt, it's so unbelievable. I tell him where to go and what the problem is, and I give him the phone number of our renter and he sets up the appointment and everything. I don't have to be the middle man on this stuff.
