The only problem I had was that he contacted a different plumber and electrician to come in and do some work and several months later we had a back up in the toilet and the garbage disposal wasn't working! We just wanted the name of the plumber but he insisted on coming on and then wanted to bill us! I would have understood paying the plumber but he charged us $65.00 just for coming over plus three dollars and change in tax while there is no tax on services! I would like to just pay the plumber, because he actually did work for us! I don't know why this contractor even came over for that.
The basic work the contractor did was fine, though. It was a fairly extensive project with different changes in what we wanted and what the cost was. We had some disagreements on pricing but we were able to resolve them all to everybody's satisfaction. We went round and round on a lot of things but did manage to resolve. Maybe that is not really unusual for fairly extensive projects. I am not really upset with him for that it was just a bit of a hassle.
