For about five years, I had been looking for a home where everything I really needed was on one level. All the homes I looked at were either too expensive or would have required too much work once purchased. I can't remember where I heard that Boulder Creek Builders was building patio homes in Stapleton. Perhaps it was on the radio. When I first went to their website, I was very impressed with the information available. (First impressions count.) I emailed to learn more and heard back right away from Elitia Schwaderer. Though I eventually worked through my own realtor to purchase the house, it was Elitia who was most instrumental in my decision to build a Boulder Creek patio home. Elitia was (and continues to be) very responsive. She never gave me a hard sell, but took me on a tour of model homes and presented me only with facts. She let the quality of the homes speak for themselves. Every time I had a question she would get back to me right away with an answer.
I have now gone through the whole build process and have been in my home for more than 2 months. I was very pleased with the systems that Boulder Creek Builders had in place for making option decisions and for finishing my house on schedule. I have heard horror stories about people building homes and, I am happy to say, I did not experience any of those negative feelings. Of course there are always some things that go wrong when building, but all I had to do was mention a problem and it was corrected in a timely and gracious manner. Brent McKim was the project manager and he worked very hard to finish my home to coincide with the selling of my previous place so that I wouldn't have to put my belongings in storage.
I am very impressed with the thought that has gone into the creation of my Boulder Creek home. The builder has included so many touches that are not standard.
I realize that small things need to be corrected for a while in a new home after it is finished. My few concerns have been addressed in a timely manner and I am confident that will continue.
I highly recommend working with this company. They have assembled an excellent team of people to create a quality home at a reasonable price.
