I called Jose Rubio of Mile High Concrete because he was recommended by a friend. Jose told me he would have his partner call me. Naturally, when Johnny A showed up, I assumed they were partners. Johnny and his group poured a slab for us in Highlands Ranch, in July 2015. By December, the first signs of deterioration started to show. I called him in February and spoke with him on the phone about it. The concrete was supplied by Brannon Sand and Gravel and is inferior concrete. See the pictures below. I had folks from two companies look at this concrete and was told the aggregate was poorly washed. We paid for 4000 psi concrete and it's already starting to spall. Johnny said he would make it right. He never showed up to look at the issue nor has he returned our phone calls. Beware of Jose Rubio of New Century Concrete and Johnny Alan Lopez.
