I hired Express Pro Painters initially to paint the exterior of our house. I had gotten a lot of quotes for a previous residence, and Express Pro came after another quote that was all over the place. It was such a breath of fresh air to be asked important questions like, "hey, they did that part of your trim funky, do you prefer we paint it as it is or merge the colors like..." or "would you like if we plan to paint this wood part with your other colors or sand it then do a dark stain to match this area?" And then Patricia sends me a clear, direct quote that's always been competitively priced that all 3 times has been exactly what I owe at the end, nothing more. For me, they've consistently landed in the most reasonable range of quotes I've received (not sketchy low, not exorbitant high) while bringing professionalism that nobody matches. I also recommended them to a friend who, after a handful of quotes, was thrilled to discuss challenges that actually mattered (e.g. "we're gonna have to look at doing x, y, z to avoid damaging this unique architecture") that other painters hadn't noticed at all. We had them out again to paint our fence. Then we decided to really test their professionalism and have them cover insurance work for us. They had to argue with insurance that redoing a 2 story tall ceiling would cost more than $300. I took a leap of faith and paid them in full, and I didn't even have to remind them about needing documentation to get reimbursed by insurance. Patricia immediately put together a lengthy document as soon as our payment processed so we could submit it to insurance. She made sure it matched their criteria, so having it approved was a breeze. As for the work itself, not only is it exactly what we hoped for all 3 times, it was done exactly as promised. She schedules further out to ensure your slot but gives you the option to move it up when they're ahead of schedule, so they've either been right as scheduled or early all 3 times. They estimate how long it'll take, then take that long. Our whole house took 2 days, none of the weeks of one person spray painting patches all over that I've seen in neighbors' houses. When they painted our interior, I didn't realize some areas would be in the "splash zone," so I didn't clear them out. They didn't even bat an eye. They got everything taken care of for us and wrapped everything very diligently to ensure nothing got damaged or a new unintended paint job. When they start, they also walk around and just talk about what the plan is. They call out little things that need touch ups while they're working around them. So, a crack in the ceiling wasn't just painted over, it had a little extra attention. It's competely gone now. Then they actually walk the area again to check for anything before they come to report back to you. The attention to detail shows in every angle of their work. And finally, their whole crew is so friendly. They aren't contracting out every job. Patricia and her husband came out for quotes, and they showed up for our work with their crew. And he does paint with his crew. We see those same familiar faces every time. It's really, really hard to find contractors that operate like this, and I'm so excited we did. I don't just give them a recommendation. I would insist you at least add them for your list of quotes and see if they wow you. I truly believe it's worth your time to call them out.
