They have been excellent, honest, and they do very good work. Their pricing is better than the dealership and they will thoroughly explain to you what needs to be done. If requested, they will even give the damaged part back. We would recommend them and will continue to use them.

We have been with Alternative Auto Care for close to 20 years. Throughout that time there has never been a reason to be dissatisfied. Dale and company are efficient, competent, professional and trustworthy, always doing only the work asked for. However, during inspection, when other issues appear, recommendations are provided for either immediate rectifying or postponement to a time when it will become necessary. We are always given the opportunity to determine for ourselves what and when to have work done. They care about their work and their clients, proven by the post-care contacts to insure that we are happy with their service.

We were referred to Alternative Auto Care three years ago by a friend who has been their customer for many years. We are 100% pleased with the quality of their service and professionalism. I have been a customer for almost 10 years. I exclusively use this garage for all my automotive needs. My Honda CRV has over 200,000 miles on it and is still going strong thanks to the excellent service and care from Dale and his team. They are truly outstanding. Not only are they super knowledgable, especially about Hondas, but they care about their clients. Their work is top-notch, pricing is quite fair, and their customer service is excellent.

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful place to take your vehicle!  When I called to request a quote, Dale quickly put an estimate together and emailed it to me.  He then called back in a very timely manner to follow up and ask if I had any questions.  They dropped me off at home while they serviced my car, came back and got me when it was ready, and they were just friendly as can be.  Additionally, I was having issues with a faulty hood latch, and while it could not be repaired by them (to my sad dismay - a repair like that on my make/model vehicle had to be done at a body shop), Dale took the time to make sure my hood was secured and safe.  The price was extremely reasonable for the timing belt replacement, and the quality was outstanding.  I am almost looking forward to the next time I need service on my Honda Civic just so I can take it back to Dale and Shelley at Alternative Auto Care.

Dale does a great job at being an honest mechanic who doesn't over-promise but always delivers.  Many times I will go in and he will give me an honest assessment of what needs to be done today and what could be done a few months from now.  The belt on the car was a good example in this regard.  He called me during the day to give me an update and mentioned the belt. He said that it is showing wear but if I needed to, we could push it to the next oil change. I have always appreciated this because he is not pushy and gives the pros and cons to all decisions.  This time I decided to replace the belt because I was going to have a busy summer and discretionary funds at the time.  
He also provides a loaner vehicle (if you schedule for it in advance) which is a great service. I can go to work with the loaner vehicle and drop it off when my car is done.  
I recommend Alternative Auto Care to anyone who has a Honda/Acura.
