Larry was very professional and accommodating to our schedule. He answered the phone when I called and we scheduled the painting based on my description. He gave a sliding scale price based on how long it would take him to complete the job. He estimated a day or two. Larry took reasonable breaks and worked steadily and efficiently. We felt the price was very fair and the job well done. We would hire him again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was okay. The deal was for two guys for one full day of painting. They complained a lot and the work they did was pretty good, but I would not call them again. It seems like they spent as much time complaining about the way my old house was built and smoking cigarettes than they did painting. I would not tell somebody not to hire them, but I would not recommend them. They told me they could not do a lot of things or get things done in time so they were not very accommodating at all. I got what I paid for. They were very responsive in coming promptly after I purchased the Big Deal. In the end the deal was not a good value. The work they did do was pretty good, but they just did not do enough. I don't remember them being late.

"(Member name removed) I was personally on your jobsite and spoke with you... it wasn't that we refused to do the work - you had more you wanted done than we could accomplish in one day! I offered to contract extra time, but you didn't want to pay for it. As for complaining about your house's age - all I was trying to do was educate you on situations I saw that you may want to be aware of, and we DID put in a full day on the projects we agreed upon, and I don't see how I could have been standing around smoking when I quit in 2007. If the work was poor quality I would have been happy to come back; but it sounds like you're just unhappy we wouldn't do more for free."

It went excellent. They did everything they promised and used the highest quality paints and supplies. We feel our home has the best paint job in the neighborhood. They cleaned up every day and at the end of the job left the outside better than they found it. Larry walked around the house for a full inspection before taking final payment.

The team of two painters arrived on time and got right to work. They were very professional and neat, and did an excellent job. They even helped resolve a few small issues that we weren't sure how to deal with, but they'd seen them before and knew exactly what to do to make everything perfect. We are thrilled with the results.

It went really well! Obviously the more you do to remove furniture and prep the area before they arrive the more they'll be able to accomplish during the time they are there.

They did a great job. I scheduled the work a few weeks in advance because of a busy holiday season (for me and them). I told Larry that I had a party on a date that I needed the work done before. In order to make sure everything was done on time (one day), Larry came himself to work which was unexpected and very much appreciated. They a very good job quickly and professionally. I plan to have them back to do my interior trim and exterior.

Excellent. Crew showed up exactly on time. They took extreme care as to not damage anything in my home (including my new hardwood floors). Their painting was meticulous.

The HappyPainters actually did this job as subcontractors for a major, national home improvement chain and, as such, the price was dictated by VERY high licensing fees that had to be passed on to the customer. We felt these high fees precluded us from our mission of providing high-quality workmanship and reasonable prices and have since quit working for them. We look forward to working with you and Dave on future projects without the extra burden of paying those fees!"

Larry and his crew were very considerate and conscientious. They respectfully worked around the activities of the church as they painted. They provided a high quality paint that is holding up well under constant wear and tear. They also had to do some dry wall repair before painting on a no-texture surface and provided a seamless repair. They were careful to tape and spread drop clothes and were detailed in their job clean up afterwords.
