Martin Cihak, 5Star Remodeling owner, has done an exceptional job on two projects in the condo I just purchased in Golden, Colorado and I am very happy with the results. Martin has provided written bids that set clear expectations of services, costs and schedules, and both projects were completed in a timely manner. The first project was to install new tile in a small washer/dryer closet. His work was very well done and an attractive addition to the space.

The second project included painting the interior of the garage and replacing carpeting in three bathrooms. Most of this work was conducted while I was out of town, so Martin worked completely unsupervised. My condo neighbors gave me unsolicited compliments on how Martin parked his work truck in an appropriate location and kept the property clean and neat as he completed each day's work. The garage now looks like new construction, and the tile in the bathroom floors is attractive and a great improvement over the carpet. Martin worked at some disadvantage as the floors were not intended to be tiled and are very irregular. Due to his work, the floors are now true and level.

Martin went beyond just doing the tasks at hand. He has made several suggestions on color and identified several issues that need to be addressed in future projects. Over the next year, I plan to remodel the kitchen and two bathrooms, and I look forward to include Martin as a partner in these projects.

Martin is very professional and a hard worker. He was always punctual and courteous. He does very good work and I intend to hire him again in the future. He did both my bathrooms, and they look great. He was always on time and finished the projects within the time frame that he gave me.
