R&M Tree Service

Roger and his crew arrived promptly on the same day. He had agreed to come trim the dead branches off a couple of silver maples and remove a dead pine tree, including the stump. He removed the pine, and did some trimming, but he told me he wouldn't be able to trim a lot of those branches. This was frustrating because he asked for pictures of the trees before providing his bid, yet in the bid he said he could do the work. He also did not remove the stump. When I asked him about it, he said he only rented a stump grinder once a month, and to text him on the 20th of July (a couple of weeks later) to remind him and he would come out and take care of it. I texted him on the 20th and received no reply. I texted him again a week later and he referred me to someone else to pay to have the stump removed (I'd already paid him.). I told him I'd paid him, and he replied he had forgotten I had and that he would be out that Saturday to take care of it. Never came. Several texts later, and here we are in October, and the stump is still there. I was planning on giving him a good rating, but this is certainly no way to run a business. Do not hire him if you want a professional job done. I hope he comes out to finish the job I paid for, but at this point, it doesn't appear he has any plans to keep his word. Very disappointing.

I wouldn't recommend R&M Tree Service. They didn't finish the job. They took my money and ran. They didn't clean up their mess.

They showed up in the morning, were very adept at taking down the tree, they made cuts that caused each limb to fall precisely where they wanted them to fall, and they cleaned up afterwards quite well. Both men are very personable, answered any questions I had, didn't seem rushed, and seemed to enjoy visiting with me, explaining what they did, and they obviously take pride in all aspects of their work!
  One man climbed up the tree rigged out with a safety harness, and worked his way to the top cutting off the branches, then after the branches were all cut off, laying a large pile around the tree, he worked his way back down, and finally took down the main tree. They then cut up all the wood, loaded it into their trailer, tied it all down neatly, and only then did they ask for their money. 
  I would recommend these men to any and all - very impressive - they strike me as salt of the earth, sincere people!

Mike and Roger took down our large tree from our front yard. They cleaned up afterwards, and hauled all the wood away. We are planning for them to remove and grind the stump and roots at a later date, as our yard was covered in snow when they took down the tree.?
