Stoudt Cabinetry

We hired Stoudt Cabinetry to complete built-ins and cabinets throughout our home in September 2024.  The promised completion date was November 1, 2024.  Stoudt had only done a small percentage of the work by November 1 and, having received $70,000 from us as a deposit, demanded $20,000 more in order to proceed.  We compromised at $12,000, bringing the total amount we?d paid to $82,000, and also took several projects off of his plate in an effort to make the job more accessible to him as he was so far behind.  After that payment, we did not see him for 5 weeks.  We had a meeting with him and a ?mediator? which turned out to be his family member and this resulted in 2 more weeks of work at our home that ended on December 21st, 2024.  There were quality control and installation issues that we brought to his attention, but he refused to address or even come see (his employees did the actual work).  At this point, he had not completed a single room ? everything was just parts and pieces.

Stoudt listened to my initial request, made suggestions that I had not thought of, and helped me to lower some of the cost by offering alternatives to products. I am very happy w my kitchen redo!

This is the second project Stoudt Cabinetry has completed for us. Jim walked us thru the planning, design and implementation phase of the project. Within two weeks from the project tear out phase to full install, we had three beautiful new bathrooms, with exquisite custom cherry cabinets, granite countertops and new tile floors. Jim managed the entire project on time and within budget! The bathrooms all have a high end designer look which is exactly what we wanted! I am sure we will be hiring Stoudt Cabinetry for future projects! Well done! The first project Jim did for us was stunning! The work was high end and exceptionally well done, down to every detail from the planning and design phase to the completed project. Initially, we were discussing new kitchen cabinets, but decided to start with an alternative project that consisted of a new cherry wood entertainment center, office bookshelves, filing cabinets and dry bar with both lower and upper cabinets and granite countertops. The completed project was a work of art! We have gotten so many compliments and could not be happier! We will be sure to call Jim, again, when we are ready for our kitchen cabinet remodel.

Knows what he's doing, a real pro. He did it all: got the materials by my specs, accurate measures, installed it all. He's a busy guy so the only reason for the 4 1/2 stars is that I wanted it a little quicker and, as I said, he's a busy guy.

It was a little hard to coordinate a time, but he came when promised. I had a fancy European blind corner shelf he has never seen. It took a few minutes for him to figure it out. It works perfectly now.

Very competent, professional and candid. Job took longer than anticipated, and this was handled correctly with clear explanations. We'd hire again in a flash.
