Do not use this service. They bully and trick you into a one year contract. Then, if you change your mind, they charge you $500 for services not rendered. Do not use them.

Absolutely horrible. DoNot. Save yourself the harassment. I canceled 4 days after signing up and I'm hit with a $415 bill for doing literally nothing a month later.

Moxie has been very thorough in checking our house and grounds. This is a new build so I was concerned that the builders had disrupted critters at some point, so I elected a quarterly maintenance plan which also included attic and termite checks.

I was enticed by the introductory fee of $89.00 for services to our home, not realizing that future quarterly visits were $149.00 each. When I got the second bill of $149.00 I was confused and called in to their customer care to inquire about it and stop any future payments made to them. I was charged an 80% termination fee of about $350 remaining on the contract, even though I missed the 30 day contest period by only 8 days. I read online that my experience was not unique and that others had the exact same thing happen to them. Very shady practices, and their language around what I was actually paying from the beginning of the contract was very misleading. I would not recommend these guys.

Don't believe the 5 stars. Their service doesn't treat the problem. They keep insisting on the re-service. I don't have time to call them after every service to request a re-treatment. The photo shows a fly 2-3 days after the service right outside the patio door and this happens pretty much after every service. Their chemical never treats the mosquitos that are constantly coming in the house. They will keep calling for free termite and attic inspections and their representative will be super nice during the inspection and instantly change if you say no the treatment. They hang up the call (I think it was LaToria who hung up the call!) if you want to register complaint and ask for refund - Great customer service!! I wish I could give them 0 stars. So, if you want any of the problems mentioned above, call Moxie Pest Control NOW!

We were called by Moxie to schedule our complement attic inspection that was included in our plan. On November 1st, Tyler B. a technician from Moxie inspected our attic and told us we had a severe rodent infestation. He said our house was bad, a 7/10 and needed to be remediated immediately. He then proceeded on trying to sell us Moxie full remediation and pest control insulation services for $13,000. He tried to create a sense of urgency and pushed hard to get us to sign up for there costly services on the spot. I told him we were going to shop around and get other opinions because this is a lot of money. We had a home inspector and insulation contractors up in our attic this week and all of them told us there were no signs of an infestation or any rodent activity in our attic. All the contractor who saw Moxie’s quote were shocked because they were charging 2-3 times more than more than market value for this service. I will be canceling my service with them because of their deceptive business practices, and they tried to scam us for $13,000 by selling me a service I don’t need. Do not use their services or invite their crooked fearmongering salesmen into your home.

We have had Moxie for several months now. I mentioned that I was concerned about mice, which we had last year. They came out the next week and put bait and traps around as a preventative measure. There was no additional charge for this service. Joseph was very professional, and I highly recommend this company.

Critical: Quality *I will start off by giving them props for dropping the cancellation fee for us after we called with our concerns. The worker was also nice and was on time. However those are the only positives I have to say. I am incredibly annoyed that we paid them at all for a service that was misrepresented. (We still had to pay them for the first service. It was only the cancellation fee they didn't make us pay) If the below concerns don't bother you they may still be a good option but make sure you know what you are signing up for and don't trust what the sales representatives say. Not at all happy after inspecting our receipt with a breakdown with what products were used. Feeling like we were lied to in order to make the sale (that or the sales people don't really know what is being used). Our main concern was that the products used were both pet and pollinator safe. We were assured they were and what asked what product they used we were told Essentria which is actually harmful to bees except when done when they aren't active (I.e early morning which is when we scheduled it) because it is supposed to seep in to the ground since it is an oil. By the time pollinators are out they wouldn't have access to the pesticide. Not only were there other products on the receipt but the one we were told was used wasn't listed AT ALL. They instead used a granulate (Alpine WSG which is highly toxic to bees and stays on the ground) that is weather and water resistant which isn't safe around gardens (another concern we asked about) and will kill ALL insects. Including the good ones. Which is NOT what we were sold on.

This is the second time Darren has serviced our home. Each time he was professional and showed up with a smile. He started out by asking if there were specific issues I noticed and needed him to address. He explained todays service and went to work. He wore foot covers while inside the house and was very mindful of social distancing. Both are things that I can appreciate. #A+ Service

The technician performed the exterior inspection,cleaning away any spider webs etc. from the eaves and exterior of the home. He then sprayed the exterior of the home and spread granules in a perimeter area around the house. Very pleased with the service over the past year.
