I needed my master bedroom carpet removed and hardwood installed. The cost was reasonable, the job was scheduled within less than a month, and the work was done well within 2 days.

Everything from quote to completion was made easy by Dan. We went from his measurements to completed refinishing in less than 1 week. Unbelievable what a difference the refinishing accomplished. It looked like we installed a brand new floor. Highly, highly recommend to refresh and update a home. Price was very attractive even after considering multiple competitors.

Dan and his crew did an excellent job of refinishing our existing wood floors and then installing new wood floors in our dining room and expanding wood in our kitchen area. The workmanship was excellent and it transformed our house.

I work with Dan Satchell and his crews. I shopped around and they had the best price, the installers were friendly, and their work exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the job they did.

Our main floor was part wood oak plank and part carpet. We hired footprint floors to remove the carpet and replace it with wood. - wood was purchased from floor and decor, it was left in the house 3 weeks to acclimate as they recommended. and installed before we moved into the home. - They also replaced carpeted stairs with wood. The nail filler was quite visible and unsightly, and one of the stairs was clearly stained more than the others making it darker then the others. - very soon after installation, a few months, the wood started to shrink making gaps between every single piece of newly installed wood. we called him back, he didnt want to replace the floor, just re-sand and fill the gaps. All he told me was that the guy he had install my floor was fired, well how is that supposed to fix my project? - One of the stairs completely split between 2 planks, and it was agreed by Dan and other professionals that it was installed wrong. - The framing around the stairs was poorly reinstalled and popped off soon after installation and hasnt been fixed - they came to re-sand and fill gaps, they did not protect the baseboard, and the machine scraped off paint all over the baseboard, which all needed to be repainted. In addition they forgot to do the stair landing, and didnt move the fridge to redo that area. - A few months later the gapping worsened, and the filler that was put between gaps started to pop out. - Footprint floors was called again and Dan said there was nothing to be done, but he would have someone fix the stair and refinish and fill the wood on the stair landing. - People came over to take pictures and make an assessment a number of times, but no one ever showed up to actually fix the problem. - Dan has been called, texted, emailed, messaged on his website many many times over the past 5 years to try and get this resolved, and the past year he has just stopped returning calls. This project was completed in July of 2016, its now 5 years later and still no resolution. This is so frustrating! I have contacted a few other wood installation experts that said they would have just eaten the cost and replaced the floor and made sure it was done correctly. I am sure this is going to devalue the price of our home when we sell it because of the widespread problem with the floor, it will need to be replaced at our expense which is wrong. - Do not use Dan, he is unreliable, refuses to make things right if its costly to him, and will just ditch you and not return your calls or anything. - I didnt want to write a bad review, but Im at a loss for what to do.

Footprints floors did a great job in laying a new hardwood floors in our house. Dan had great communication with getting his crew in and get going on the project. They started on time as promised and the crew were very polite and professional. When the work was completed, Dan contacted us to insure that all the work is to our satisfaction. The job was done in a timely manner and looks amazing! This company made projects easy and stress free. Footprints floors is a great company to work with.

Dan was good to work with and all work was completed on schedule. Fidel did a very nice job with flooring refinish, but could have masked off the trim, cab bases and walls better. Several hours of touch up painting was required after Fidel was done.

Dan and his crew helped us out of a bind as our refrigerator leaked and our wood floors that Footprints Floors installed last year (to the day) got severely damaged. We were worried that we might have to redo the entire main level. Dan assured my wife and I that they will be able to not only fix the damaged boards, but also be able to lace the stain in making it look like nothing happened. The first thing that they did was a moisture test and they communicated to us immediately that the damage is not too bad and that, while some boards needed to be replaced, the rest can just be sanded and then stained and coated to match the existing floor. Hearing this made us feel better, but, still, we were worried that this may no happen. We kept getting reassurances from Dan and his team that all will be okay and to just be patient. Well, here we are after a few days that the work started and we are amazed at the tremendous job Dan and his team did on our wood floors! It really doesn't look like anything happened!! Everyone has their own experiences, but I was able to text Dan and he responded promptly with my questions. He and his team really cared about our needs and wanted to make sure we were satisfied in every way. In fact, we just asked for an extra coat and Dan went out of his way to ensure that someone comes tomorrow morning to get this done!!! The owner, Dan, followed up every step of the way. The quote process was thorough. The price quote was the best we found, but it was not low for cutting corners. Dan managed expectations and brought in excellent crews for the various project phases. Our floors came out perfectly. This was a large project with over 1k SF to install, lace and finish/refinish. We showed the floors to a neighbor today and they were blown away. Projects like this will encounter an issue or two. Dan resolved those with expedience. Will hire again.

Installation of wood floor were great, but the first crew that installed the transition strips was below par.

The floor and finishing was good. However I assumed that there would not be this much damage to the walls and surrounding area. Unfortunately, I now have $250 worth of re-painting and drywall patching to complete by myself. I was offered $120 for repairs which does not cover all the expenses. As a single woman, this will mean a lot of rework.

They were able to work around my unique circumstances.

Dan was great to work with. We had the floor refinished and the floor looks wonderful. The workers were not careful enough to block the flowing dust throughout the house. Otherwise we were pleased.
