I hired this man for my client's electrical work on the kitchen remodeling. He partially completed the job, then asked to continue with other work like plumbing, installing vinyl flooring, and the kitchen cabinets. I agreed to let him do the work but had to fire him because everything he did was done incorrectly. I ended up paying $2500 to the new electrician and the carpenter to correct his work. Besides these issues, he collected $2000 from my client, an elderly couple, for services that I already paid him, and he doesn't have the right to collect money from them when he has a contract with me for the work. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the district attorney in hopes of getting the money back for my client.
Description of Work: Remove the existing ceiling light fixture and install the new fixture, new outlets for the appliances, for which I had to hire an electrician to fix his work, install vinyl flooring, which was partially completed, and install the kitchen cabinets, for which I had to hire a carpenter to take the cabinets apart and re-installed
