He worked with me on addressing my needs. His coworker was very good at what he does. They were thorough and professional. I was very impressed.

It took them a couple of days to get everything done. The price was very reasonable. They were very professional.

I had a sewer odor in my master bath and could not locate it's source.
I had only been in the house for a month and it has a septic system so
I was fearful that there was a problem with it. I called Academy Plumbing Service as
they were close. They responded quickly. The gentleman sent was courteous. I knew I had a problem when I took
him into the bathroom and asked if he could smell the odor and he responded by shrugging
his shoulders with a look that seemed to say that his nose didn't work.
What he did made little sense but I'm by no means a plumber.
He removed the toilet and reinstalled it. He said it was off center and that
that was the problem. After he finished, I went to inspect his work and found boot
heal marks all over my walls and door. He then asked me if I wanted him to re-caulk
the toilet. What? That's not included? At that point, I only wanted him out of
my house so I told him that I would do it myself.
Needless to say the odor was still there. I continued to
search and sniff and finally narrowed the smell to the overflow drain in the
stand alone shower. I plugged the main shower drain and used about $0.25 worth of bleach and water,
letting it stand in the overflow for a couple of hours. This experience proved
the adage (at least in this case) that if you want something done right, do it
yourself. It cost me $135.00 to relearn the moral.

They did a good job for me. I chose them only because they were the only ones who would come out on a Saturday without charging extra. The others had extra charge for weekends. Without the hot water it was kind of a bit of a hurry. They were the ones who have found the problem with the plumbing leading into the water heater that contributed to the problems that we had with the cold water heater. I was very pleased with that because the water heater not only works, it works much better than the old one or have ever been because they fixed the pipe coming into it. I was pleased with them. They weren't the cheapest one but they were the ones who do it on a short notice on a Saturday without extra charge. I would use them again in the future.

The service Academy provided was courteous, prompt and professional. I was so satisfied that I recently called them about a problem with my boiler. The owner, John, came out within an hour. Although the boiler was different from those he was familiar with, John proceeded to try and diagnose the problem. He narrowed down the area of the problem but ultimately opted to defer a final diagnosis to a competitor with more experience in this particular type of boiler. John called them and arranged for them to come by within an hour. His recommendation solved my problem but more importantly, John;s candor provided a great result. Furthermore, even though John was at my house for well over an hour, he said there was no charge. Such honesty and integrity is refreshing and I will gladly call Academy Plumbing for any future plumbing repairs I may need.

He is great. He is very professional and efficient. He is also very reasonably priced.
