 + -1 moreI was very pleased. Tom came out immediately after I accepted the estimate, with the help he needed to handle, inspect, and repair the panels. They removed and checked all 36 panels, repaired the damage they found, reinstalled the panels and installed squirrel guards. They also checked my solar thermal panels for damage and installed squirrel protection there. The work was done in one day. They checked to make sure that the system started up normally, and Tom followed up with me later to make sure that the system was back into complete production.
Description of Work: I have a 36-panel solar PV installation on my house roof. After several years of trouble-free operation, it suddenly stopped working and indicated a ground fault. The installer was no longer in business, so I contacted Tom Carr, who had been employed by the original installer and operates his own solar PV and solar thermal service business. Tom immediately came out for a preliminary inspection and immediately found squirrel damage. He gave me an estimate to thoroughly inspect each panel, repair all damage, and install a squirrel guard. In his estimate, he said that if additional damage was found beyond the amount he expected in his estimate, he would stop and give me a new estimate
