Shane is excellent at repairs, honest, friendly, and economical without skimping on quality. I already recommend him to everyone I know and will continue to do so.
He quickly confirmed our suspicion that the heating coil in the dryer needed to be replaced. Based off other reviews of the same issue (under companies' reviews) I was expecting a part to have to be ordered, but was delighted when he said he had the part in his truck and would get it fixed right away. He was efficient and the work was completed quickly. He said that is an advantage of Frigidaire is that their parts are more universal and he's able to keep them more easily in stock. The work was completed quickly and I was thrilled when the cost was only about $170.00. Again, other reviews I'd read from other companies for the same problem appeared to be much more costly. Shane did tell us that Frigidaire stocks two different parts and for this one he puts the new coil in the existing part himself, which is much less expensive. I certainly appreciate that he tries to save his customers money by taking care of it himself, rather than buying the much more costly, but slightly easier to use, part.
We have Shane's Appliance Repair on our bulletin board and will definitely call him again if we have future appliance repair needs, and we would definitely recommend his services.

It is very evident that Shane is knowledgeable and cares about his clients spending their money wisely. I have a dryer that will soon need a new element and I will not hesitate to call Shane when I have the money to do the repair. Or any repair on any appliance I have for that matter!

- Once Shane arrived, he immediately took the ice dispenser off of the refrigerator. He knew exactly which part needed replacement. He showed me the broken part, explained what was wrong with it, and told me how much the new part would cost before he repaired the problem. He installed the new part and reinforced another part which tends to cause problems. After he put the dispenser back together, he showed me that everything was working smoothly and he cleaned any mess he had made, packed up everything and left.
