Jorge Martinez came late on 8/7/20, and spent about 5 hours, much of which was removing mud from the valve box and then replacing one of the leaking valves. He then convinced me to buy 8 new water efficient rotating heads & put them on to try to take care of the patches of dry & dying grass. He asked for the pay for that day, promising to come back to finish the job the next Tues. 8/11/20 at 9:30 AM. As he left, he asked for & I unfortunately wrote him a check for $330 for that day, which he cashed almost immediately. He left his tools behind, but never showed up again. When I tried to call the number he left the first time, someone else answered who also works with a sprinkler system, but didn't know who Jorge Martinez was. I haven't heard from him since, & have since found more leaking valves & heads with the latest sprinkler company I called, and will have to go back to the spraying heads since the time needed for rotating heads and spraying heads is significantly different (which I didn't know at the time) and most of these new heads are on the same line as the spraying heads. He seemed like a nice guy & worked hard but I got cheated I think, and will need to spend more money to get the job done correctly. I tried to send you a picture, but couldn't get it from my phone to here--there is about 4+ inches of water in the valve box today (8/21/20) after it was emptied yesterday by another sprinkler company who came to give me an estimate.

The brown spots in your yard could be from one of two turf grass fungi that are running rampant all of the metro area or possibly both. I have a very simple and inexpensive solution for these fungi. As far as the irrigation system goes we can repair what'[Member Information Removed] leaking, make sure you have the proper heads for the best water coverage and adjust your controller accordingly. QuickPro made an appointment with me to provide an estimate after giving them a detailed description of the work I needed done. They never showed up for the appointment or called me to advise or reschedule. Very unprofessional and wasted my time.

GREAT! Tommy checked our 30yr old front and back yard lines and found 2-3 zones that were not on the timer. Since our priority this visit was just to make sure our new front yard sod would be watered automatically, he will address these other issues later, at our choosing. He did replace a broken sprinkler head and put it on a riser so the new plants I added in the back yard would be covered. He agreed to put us on his seasonal list for biannual servicing as well! Yay! Quick Pro Sprinkler Repair had several excellent reviews. I reached their office via the Angie’s List phone number. I talked to Kevin and setup an appointment for 5 days later. The repair team showed early for the appointment. They did a thorough job in 90 minutes. They fixed some leaks that my dog had made by chewing the irrigation tubing. They added some new emitters. They located a pop up drain for my roof gutters run off. They even cleaned out my gutter. This drain had been clogged for 4 years. They fixed it. They found a persistent leak in the front yard and determined that it was due to a valve not shutting off completely. Next, they checked the system for any more leaks. The total was only $140. This is an outstanding value. I’m scheduling them to come back out next month for a fall sprinkler blow out, winterization, lawn aeration and winter fertilization. I highly recommend this company!

This was our 1st time using Tommy D and they were fantastic! They arrived to complete repairs within 2 days of my initial call and completed the repair quickly. Excellent work done at a fair price and within a few hours. Tommy D. explained to me what they did, detected a leak that I didn't know that I had and fixed it. His final price was several hundred dollars less than he had originally estimated. He is without a doubt, a very honest person.

I turned on my sprinkler system one Saturday and found that a piece was broken in the cap that was causing it to leak. I called Tommy and he said he could be there in one hour and quoted me a price over the phone. He arrived on time and fixed the problem, but then he saw that a line was leaking and flooding the street. We scheduled a time for him to do exploratory digging the following week and he discovered that the line to the pond had burst over the winter because it wasn't blown out properly. He sent me an estimate and scheduled a time for him to replace it. The cost was going to be around $900, but when he called me at the end of the job, he said the job took less time than he expected and ONLY CHARGED ME $177!!!! When was the last time you had a contractor do that? Plus, he replaced the old line with one that had shut off valves and could be more effectively blown out. Tommy is the real deal and I will use him for all of my irrigation needs in the future.
