Concrete Repair
Yes, I recommend this pro
$3,000
Replacing the front porch was complicated. The porch has a railing that rests on the concrete slab. Posts from the railing connect to the overhang the covers the porch. There is also an iris bed (irises in full bloom) the full length of the porch that butts up against the concrete slab. The railing was NOT wait bearing, but it had to be propped up to remove the old concrete.
The team who took out the old concrete did a great job. My iris bed was not disturbed at all. Eric (owner) came back the next day and poured the new concrete. One of the sidewalk pieces that had split in half was near a downspout. I asked Eric to put a drain for the downspout under the new slab and he did.
New concrete is great. The old porch had spit in half and the railing was beginning bow in the center. It is now straight again.
The only thing that would have been better is if they could have wiped off some of the splattered concrete from the railing, the adjacent, concrete and some that got onto one brick. It isn't bad. Not a lot of spatter. it's just that it is very hard to get off once it drys. I will have to touch up the paint on the railing a bit.

Eric has done work for me before (a driveway in 2006 with some decorative work). He and is team are very good. They anchor the new concrete into the foundation so it does not try to pull away and spit again.

Most recent job  includes:
  - 14' x 14' stamped concrete patio in the back yard &  fire pit,
including 7x3 small walkway and 57' walkway. 3/4" gas line to fire pit, soil prep, 8 yards of kentucky bluegrass, 2 new sprinkler zones, addtional trees and landscape plantings.
We have used Eric and his team numerous times over the past 4 years (2 different properties). We have had 3 patios poured over the last 3-4 years, driveway sealed, landscaping andbasement repair after moving shower drain. They have always provided professional quality work and have been very responsive to any questions we have had before and after the work has been completed.
We would highly recommend (and, in fact have) Rocky Mountain Stonecrete for any concrete or landscaping needs you might have.
