Excellent. After another contractor stood us up just a few days before the City Forester's deadline for us to trim dead branches, Matt's was able to schedule us on very short notice. Reasonably priced compared to another firm that couldn't meet our deadline anyway. Worked carefully, cleaned up well, always courteous.

It was excellent. They have an adequate number of workers available, they plan ahead of time and there were no issues in getting the job done.

Matt returned my call the day after leaving him a message and came to my house a few days later and left me a proposal. His proposal was quite a bit lower as the other companies wanted to hire a crane and Matt was able to do the work without a crane utilizing his equipment. We scheduled to have the 2 large cottonwood trees removed and the stumps ground 10 days later. They arrived on time and got these trees removed in 7 hours while also trimming my next door neighbors cottonwood. They did a great job throughout the process. They always had one of the crew cleaning up after the ongoing work to the point of going on the roof to clean the tree limbs off and cleaning the gutters of any debris that had fallen into them during the process. They completely cleaned all surrounding areas (even the street) to the point that you would not realize that the work had been done except for the missing trees.

Matt has some incredible equipment that allowed him to remove the 2 trees quickly even though one of the trees was in a vicarious place in my back yard next to the corner of my house. The stump grinding come out with equally positive results. I had taken the day off from work to watch the process and Matt and his crew were polite and a pleasue to work with. During the tree removal process I was so impressed that I e-mailed a co-worker that needs to have a tree removed and suggested Matt.

I would recommend Matt's Maintenace and Tree Service to anyone and give him a 5 star rating. I have had 2 other mature cottonwood tress removed over the last 8 years and Matt blew the other companies away.

We had an storm/wind damage that snapped one 50ft cottonwood, began to uproot another 50 ft cottonwood and uprooted a 25 ft blue spruce. Other neighbors had damage as well. Matt was very prompt and gave us a very good price. He and his crew removed the trees, cleaned all the debris of limbs throughout the yard. The crew needed to remove fencing to get at the trees and then put it back just like it was before. They cleaned up the all the mess. I have used Matt in the past for smaller jobs and would recommend them for tree removal. Good guys, fast and hardworking.

Matt was very punctual and quoted a fair price for the work.  On the day of the project he and his crew arrived on schedule and diad a great job.

He and his crew of 4 showed up early because of predicted storms later.  He had to avoid a small shed, a detached garage and power lines.  He avoided all three. He and crew were professional and had the tree down and area cleaned in less hank two hours.

Despite several weather set-backs, Matt stayed in touch multiple times to reschedule and ensure that we both could find a mutually agreeable time to have the work done.  Once the final time was set - 9:00 am on a Thursday - Matt's maintenance was very prompt and got the job done, cleaned up and hauled away within a matter of two hours or so. Very hard-working crew who respected our property and did a great job overall.

The day that I called to get a quote he was able to come out that morning and he seemed very knowledgable. I received the quote that night and decided that I would go with them. One factor is that it is small local business, I liked that.  I also am looking to get my deck and fences redone and wanted to use the same company. A couple weeks after the initial quote I had Matt and his team return and they were on time, cleaned up after themselves, and left my yard looking better than when they arrived. I would definitely use him again and will be getting one more tree trimmed and the deck built.

Very well, Matt and his partner work great as a team.   This the third time I had Matt work on my trees.  I am always afraid of the high winds we get and he "thins" my trees so the winds will have an easier time to pass through the tree and help to avoid costly tree breakage.
I find Matt very easy to work with and very understanding in my concerns for my trees' health and welfare.   He knows just how much I love my trees!!

His knowledge of the trees and the way to cut them stands out to me and I will use them again in the future.

Everything has been excellent. His prices are reasonable, and I have found him to be both reliable and efficient. He is very respectful, and he does great work. He is often busy, but once you get in contact with him he is quite punctual. I have been happy with him and will continue to use him.
