Description of Work: Lowe's employee helped design kitchen layout and ordered cabinets. Wrote contract and accepted payment. July 2012 Installation was to begin in approx 6 weeks. It was delayed several times and finally begun in late September. Several cabinet doors were damaged on arrival. Turn Key Installations was the sub-contractor to do installations. Three installers arrived, one was the supervisor who left after looking at cabinets, while in boxes. The other two began the installations process. They were supposed to be done in two days, finally finished in 3 days. Installation was done poorly, several cabinets were damaged in the process, holes were drilled in the cabinets exteriors unnecessarily, and left that way. Cabinets were late arriving. Installers were slow, not professional and careless. Many of the cabinets were damaged on arrival and others were damaged during installations. We contacted Lowe's about the quality of the cabinets and installation and they agreed to come and look at them. Two reps from Lowe's and one from Turn Key came and all agreed there were big problems and saw damage immediately. We were told things would be replaced and damage would be repaired. It is now almost the middle of March 2013 and we are still dealing with this. There are still 3 cabinet doors that are to be replaced, because Lowe's ordered wrong or they arrived damaged, 3 times. So, doors are reordered and we wait for them to arrive, we make an appointment with Turn Key (Lowe's sub-contractor) and wait for them, they come and still wrong doors. There is still damage from the original installers (employed by Turn Key) that has not been repaired. At present, we have 2 of the replacement doors sitting in our garage while we wait for the third so we can make another appt to finish this. I would say this is one of the worst experiences, no it is the worst experience we have ever had with any business.

Description of Work: Bought door sweep, deck screws and misc. The employee who helped me was very knowlageable and had a great personality.

 + -1 moreFirst I picked out the doors at the store. That went smooth and all my questions were answered. The doors were special ordered,delivered and installed about two weeks later. One door came from the factory damaged so we had to reorder. It was installed two weeks later. The installer did a great job. One of the doors was a little tricky but Don, the installer was able to make the necessary adjustments fo make it right.There is a lot to a good installation and it is not something one can do in a few minutes. I was very pleased with the outcome.
Description of Work: I had three doors installed, two exterior and one interior.

 + 0 moreAFTER TALKING TO A REPRESENTATIVE AT LOWE'S, WE DECIDED TO JUST TOTALLY REPLACE THE SCREEN AND WINDOW. THEY SENT A MAN OUT TO MEASURE AND INSTALL. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THERE WAS SOME CONFUSION ABOUT DELIVERY, BUT THAT WAS CLEARED UP FINE.
Description of Work: WE HAD HAIL DAMAGE ON OUR WINDOWS AND SCREENS. WE WEREN'T SURE ABOUT HOW TO DO THIS OURSELVES AND CONTACTED LOWE'S.

 + -1 moreMY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH LOWES WAS GREAT. THEY SUPPLIED ME WITH ALL THE MATERIALS I NEEDED AND THERE WERE MANY EMPLOYEES WHO KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND KNEW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT. I WOULD SURELY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS FOR LUMBER AND FIREWOOD.
