Let me start off by saying that we have hired multiple contractors in the past and have had issues of one kind or another with every one of them. We hired Jerry Vidmar to finish our basement in October. Jerry met with us, took the time to understand our needs and our budget and provided us with a timely bid that fulfilled those needs and budget. He added some creative shelving and a few other designs within budget as well. The bid was detailed, fair, and easy to understand. The one thing that stood out the most to me about Jerry as opposed to other contractors I have dealt with was his constant communication with us throughout the project. Jerry was on-site checking on his crew frequently and talked with us almost daily about the progress of the project. All of the sub-contractors Jerry has working for him (framers, dry wallers, painters, plumbers, electricians) all completed their work in a timely, clean, and professional manner. We added a couple of things to the project mid-way through and Jerry was accommodating and worked with us throughout the project to make sure our basement was perfect for us. At the end of the project I needed to change a couple of the electrical choices we had made and Jerry had the electrician there within two days to make the changes. From start to finish Jerry did a fantastic job making sure everything was how we wanted it. While our basement was quite basic, Jerry added some creative features within our budget that really added to the design of our space. Jerry finished our basement a month ahead of schedule! We also hired Jerry to do some work making cabinets and a bar area for us on the main floor of our house and the craftsmanship and quality of these projects have been fantastic. Jerry is by far the best contractor I have ever worked with. I highly recommend Jerry for his professionalism, creativity, attention to detail, cost, communication, cleanliness, and quality of work. Jerry is the total package. If I could give more stars I would!

Fantastic. The whole process was simple & was done in just a few months. We were able to work with Jerry on the planning process, implementing our own ideas & choosing the design that would make it special to us. He was organized, informative & timely. The Basement came out better than we could have ever imagined.
