Befort Plumbing and Heating

Don't ever use this company. When our furnace went out, I also noticed our water heater leaking. I called Befort because about 15 years ago I had good luck with them. HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED!!! After showing up almost 4 hours later than promised, they then proceeded to first install the water heather and then announce that it was too late in the day to get the part to fix my furnace. We had to go without heat for another 24 hours when the temperature forecast overnight was 13 degrees (F). Six weeks after installation, my brand new water heater stopped working. Befort refused to help me (in fact, hung up on me twice when I said I was having problems) and finally referred me to the manufacturer. The Manufacturer's rep finally worked out that Befort had installed a natural gas water heater instead of a propane water heater, which is a serious fire hazard. Despite this, Befort had to be threatened with a lawsuit in order to come out and fix his mistake. THEN he tried to charge me for the extra hours. It was HORRIBLE to do business with this company. Save yourself a lot of trouble and pick a different company.
