Eric's bid was right within our budget and we were very excited to work with him. He was easy to talk with in the beginning and we looked forward to a few new spaces. The tear out of the basement was ok but things started going down hill fast. My husband is retired and was at home during the whole process. Early on, we started realizing that we probably should have carefully examined the bid more closely. This was our first experience with a remodel and we could sense our inexperience in some things. There was a lot my husband was familiar with so he made suggestions along the way. Most of the time we were hit with the phrase and quot;it's not in the bid, that work will be extra. The quality of the work started going down hill after we discovered Eric had a flip of his own that he needed to start. The 2 guys he hired were left alone a lot of the time (before the flip started) as Eric doesn't get to the job until well after 10am each day and the end of day was at 4:30 with an hour lunch, that leaves a 5 hour work day (which wouldn't be a big deal but he works for himself and he was one of the workers supervising the other two guys). Their experience was sub-par and we found a lot of items that needed to be or should have been re-done which he complained about. Once Eric's flip started (which was about the time our kitchen was starting)the quality and attention to detail was well below what we thought was standard. We had a lot of upper end items and the work in the Kitchen and Bathroom was just slapped together so that Eric could focus on his own flip project. We didn't expect Eric to perform any work without getting paid but we DID EXPECT to have the work we DID PAY FOR to be a quality job! I look around my home in tears and feel like the remodel was not done by a professional. We spent our savings to NOT HAVE our home look like a diy project. This experience has left me jaded to do any kind of an upgrade again by anyone other than a true professional. If you don't mind having your contractor working 5 hour days and the work to be just average or sub-par, then Arrowhead Construction would be a great option for you.

We write contracts for a reason to make it fair to both sides of the agreement. I ask if they had any questions and they did not. If they need clarification on anything at any time, I would have been more then glad to clarify anything. We choose to take our trips to the store at lunch time to maximize the time at the job, some trips take longer then others. The father-in-law had done lots of none to code work that was covered up by the existing walls and drywall, hence sight unseen, plumbing, electrical, all code issues that had to be fixed, which we fixed for FREE. After a certain point we had to start charging them for the continuous fixes and addons NOT in the contract. This review is over exaggerated because I would not continue to be taken to the cleaners. I could spend a significant amount of time responding to this, but i have work to be done. We do excellent work and have an A+ rating because of it. You can't make everyone happy, especially when they dont want to pay for all the added on work they are trying to get out of a contractor. CONTRACTORS EVERYWHERE BEWARE!!!!

My husband and I bought a home from Arrowhead Construction that they had fixed up and flipped. The drainage in the area is very tricky; there are no storm drains or gutters, basically all the homes have small ditch’s in front of their homes and a culvert pipe under their driveways. This allows water to flow down the street and in to a small ditch at the end of the street. One of the things that they did was to remove the culvert and install a French drain around the perimeter of the home. This French drain was supposed to collect water from around the house and drain in to the neighbors drain. Upon moving in, we started noticing that there were wet spots and muddy areas in certain areas around the outside of the house. We had several people look at the lot and even had a survey done to try to figure this out. We contracted someone to grade the lot correctly and to see what was going on. What we found out was that the French drain that they installed was done incorrectly. It was actually buried higher at the front of the home and lower at the back, allowing to water to flow TO the house rather than AWAY from it. After a rain, the water would flow towards the house and just sit in the drain causing constant wet and muddy areas. Also, it was about 2 feet BELOW my neighbors drain, and the pipe was smashed flat (so it would never work, unless water flows UP HILL). The work that they did was totally incorrect, and it is costing us $1000's of dollars to get it fixed. Before we had the work done, I sent Arrowhead an e-mail to ask if they had any ideas or info that might help us (I wasn’t asking them to fix it), however they never responded.
Description of Work: We bought a house that he 'flipped'. He did all the finish work himself, installation of appliances, plumbing and drainage around the exterior of the home.

It went really well. We were very happy with the results. They retiled 2 showers and bathroom floors, installed 2 vanities and retrofitted the plumbing in one to work with the vanity we had pivked out. They also painted and installed lights. They also did our kitchen backsplash. They worked efficiently and left everything very clean at the end of every day.
Description of Work: Kitchen backsplash, 2 bathroom remodels

This is actually the third time that we asked Eric to help us. He has done a great job each time. The first time was right after we purchased two condos in Aurora, Colorado. Our home inspector had given us a list of issues that needed to be corrected and the seller corrected about half of them. We had Eric do the rest and he did a fine job for us. The second time was following the move out of a tenant who had left the unit with some damage. In addition, we had decided that we wanted to paint the unit and to replace the carpeting. Again, Eric did a fine job. One of the things I really liked is that he insisted that we pick out carpet, paint, fixtures, etc. even though we're here in Hawaii. We had gotten a quote from another contractor and he just gave us numbers. Eric said that he couldn't finish a quote until we told him what we wanted. In thinking about this, it really made sense because then we were getting the things that we wanted (like the grade and type of carpet). We felt much more comfortable with his quote than the one we received from the other contractor. Most recently, we purchased another condo in Aurora. It needed more work than the previous units and we also wanted to add a half-bath to it since the only two bathrooms were in the bedrooms (the unit has 2 master suites). Eric just finished today. Again, it was a pleasure working with him.
Description of Work: Eric repaired numerous problems that we found in a new rental unit that we purchased. In addition, he added a half-bathroom to the basement for us.

The quote was $2300. He seemed like he was on top of it. I was happy up to that point. I would family and friends not to ever call him. He kept putting me off since August. He was supposed to come out and do the work. I would call him every couple of weeks, and he would tell me two more weeks. He said that he would call the locator and that he would call me when he was coming. The locator came out, and I have never heard from him again. He never showed up to do the work. He was professional with me, but I just feel like I was being lied to week after week after week.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Arrowhead Construction to have some stairs added to my upper deck and to have a new gate part of my fence put in.

[member name removed] I want to appologize for the incedent and the way that this happened. I was inundated with work from an investor . That completley menopolized my schedule with countless additions to scopes of work not originally agreed upon in our time lines. I try to give all of my clients the highest of priority no matter the size of job. This is not how I conduct bussiness and would love every oportuny to earn your business again. I sincerly appologize . If there is any way that I can make things right please let me know. We did not accept any down payment for this.
