The technician arrived earlier than promised (thank goodness because it was a hot day and I asked for the earliest available technician).The problem was solved in less than 30 minutes and the air conditioning was running back to normal again. The technician answered all my questions as he worked.Very pleased and I would use them again.

The temperatures were in the teens when I called 5280.  Earlier, I received a call from a tenant who was certain that the thermostat had failed.  The tenant attempted to repair but was unable to get the furnace to start and so I contacted 5280.  They made a late night visit at the request of the tenant to repair the thermostat.  It was discovered that it was a little more than just the thermostat.  5280 repaired the issue and the tenant had heat.  This is just one example of how they have helped me and my tenants over the years.  They have become a partner of mine.  I know I can rely on the fact that they are responsive, helpful and very affordable.

Ryan had a bit of car trouble and was late to our appointment. I understand and sympathize, but wished he called me to let me know what was going on and updates on when he was trying to be there. When he got here, Ryan was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. He apologized repeatedly for the tardiness and replaced the faulty part free of charge. Even though we had to wait for Ryan, we would definitely use him again for his knowledge and courtesy.

When it is forecasted to be the hottest day of the year and your AC is out, well I was desperate for a fix. I am an older lady, living alone and trust Angie's list. I was beyond pleased with the service Ryan provided. He was fast, on time, competent and had it up and running in 30 minutes! My problem was quickly found and fixed, he had the parts for my old AC unit on his truck. He even offered to apply the expense of this repair against a new unit if mine fails this summer. It is old, but now still cooling, thanks to Ryan!I will most definitely be calling them in the future, they are a great find....you are in my contact list, Mr. Meston!

5280 repairman responded on the weekend within 2 hours of my call.  He diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes to a bad motor capacitor and replaced it quickly.  He also checked out the system and Freon level and found no other problems.  Once the system was working, he watched the system to make sure there were no other problems.  He was very professional and took the time to explain everything he was doing.  The price would have been even lower except they do charge for a weekend service call.  All in all, I was very pleased with their service.

My A/C went out overnight.  I called 5280 at 8:30 am and they said someone was in my area.  By 10:30 am my A/C was fixed!  The technician was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and well... a life saver.  It was very hot outside and I was worried I'd be sweating it out for a week.  2 hours and everything was back to normal.

I was quoted up to $1200.00 for this repair. Rick was nice and straight forward. Quoted me an approximate price and then checked based on serial #. Orriginal estimate was within $25.00 of orriginal quote. Rick was on time and completed the repair for the agreed price. Good folks!
