Raymond evaluated the situation and gave an estimate on the spot. He also suggested trimming a blaze maple that was impinging on my home and thinning the ash in my front yard. The cost for all these items was the same as a second bid from another tree service. The work was done quickly the next day with no damage to either the fence or the city tree. After thinning the ash, Raymond suggested treating it with a growth moderator to help it withstand the emerald ash borer (EAB). The chemical is very expensive (I checked) but the price he gave was very reasonable. I plan to call him next spring to fortify the ash against the EAB. and to treat the blaze maple with an iron supplement as its leaves are somewhat yellow. Raymond was very professional and his knowledge of trees was impressive.
Description of Work: Removal of 4 dead aspens. The largest was about 10" in diameter at 4' from the ground. Two of the aspens were being held-up by the back-yard fence and were impinging on a city-owned tree outside the fence.
