I used CertaPro Painters of Southwest Jeffco

It was really not a good experience. They power washed my deck so heavily it actually dug holes into my deck. I wasn’t satisfied with the job. I never paid them and they never contacted me. So, apparently they thought it was a pretty lousy job too.

We had three bids on the house.   My husband and I  were both most  impressed with Ken and the quality standards and followups he offered.   Last time we had the house painted we just chose a color from a sample page  the painter had that resembled the current paint.   It turned out WAY too red......not the "redwood" that we  thought we were choosing.  Ken had his color consultant come.    She heard our desires and recommended house and trim combos. She told us how and where to paint samples on house to see the color choices at various times of the day.   Part of the bid included three paint sample combos from their paint supplier.    It was amazing how different the paint looked from the paper samples to actual  spots on the house.   We were able to get a real idea of what the stain/paint would look like.   Also lots of family and friends had their ideas from the sample paint.   We were pleasantly surprised by how nice and helpful the crew were.   Last time the house was painted we had doors and windows covered in brown paper for 5 days.    (It spanned a weekend and we were left in the hot, "dark".)    Ken's  guys worked hard moving from side to side but always uncovering windows when done with an area.    Painting a house in "intrusive" , but this let me do lots of my work as usual.   The guys noticed that I had put the hummingbird feeder back up after the first day.   They removed it to do trim but were careful to put it back again.   Also I had a birdhouse with baby bluebirds on one side of the house.   They seemed as concerned as I was and two guys held up paper to shield the birdhouse while painting.   Birds are fine.  Even though they brought their own lunch and cooler,  we live far from stores so I chose to give the crew lemonade and ice in my good thermal glasses each day.   They always found all four and returned them in good shape.   Again they seemed to enjoy their job and did well, always making sure that I approved of their work.  Ken stopped by from time to time to make sure all going to our approval.    Crew left things perfect shape.    No paint spills on deck or rocks.  House looks great!!!  Love the colors this time.

Prompt response to our request for estimate.  Work was also scheduled quickly.  Painters arrived early and worked late.  They did a good job.

EXCELLENT OVERALL EXPERIENCE. GREAT JOB ON THE ACTUAL PAINTING. NO OVERSPRAY AND CLEANED UP ALL OF THEIR MESS. WONDERFUL WORKMEN, VERY CONSIDERATE OF MY FLOWERS. I DON'T THINK THERE WAS A SINGLE CASUALTY. WE THOUGHT THERE WAS A PROBLEM ON ONE SIDE OF THE HOUSE & THEY HAD ACTUALLY REPAINTED IT BEFORE WE HAD A CHANCE TO BRING IT TO THEIR ATTENTION.
