These guys are the BEST! I have hired them since to remove branches etc on remaining trees.

They did a very good job, were easy to communicate with, did additional trimming of scrub oak when asked, and cleaned up after the job.

I called to get an estimate and Mark (owner) came out later that day.  We agreed  on having the work done the next week.  He called to set the date and time.  The workers showed up and got right to work, earlier than I expected.  That was fine as I said I would be there all day.  The two fellows were friendly, efficient and did a great job.

This is the second time I have used their services and the first time was great, too.  The prices are reasonable and fair, work is done when they say it will be done, clean-up is good and they are very friendly.  I definitely recommend their work.

Mark's workers are amazing. They are very skilled and really remarkable how they get trees to fall just where they want them . This is much appreciated with other aspects of the landscaping surrounding the work area.

We are very happy with all of the work done by Mr. Stump (Mark) and have been a customer of his for at least 10 years.  Professional, punctual, efficient, reasonably priced, great work ethic.  Wouldn't use anyone else for any of our tree work!

Mr. Stump was real good and I would use him again... Had I contracted him directly Mr. Stump would probably have done the job for a lot less than I paid Mountain High. Although I was pleased with Mountain High, too. Only issue was it took a couple of weeks to get Mr. Stump to do the job because he was so busy.

Took about 1/2 hour and they were here and gone! Cleaned up branches and hauled away.

The owner came out and spent sufficient time with me to understand what I wanted done.  He gave me a quote on the spot.  We scheduled the work and it was performed without issue. (in a surprisingly small amount of time)

I had four cottonwood trees that had been planted by the previous owner.  The roots of these trees were destroying the sidewalk and privacy fences.  I called Mr Stump and within  week he had provided an estimate.  I ask around work and all told me this was a very good price.  I scheduled the work.  Mr Stump showed up on time and was very quick and professional.  He did the work as promised and did an excellent job of cleanup afterwords.

I called Mr Stump & set up a time for an estimate.  He arrived promtly.  An estimate was given, which was a little higher than previous companies in previous years. Even though  other companies may have provided lower estimates, they did not show within the estimated time period; so I cancelled them; or in 1 case I did not feel the method the worker planned to use was safe which included climbing my trees so I did not hire him. In cases where work was done by others I was not as satisfied for one reason or another.  Mr  Stump  gave me an approximate date for the work.  The work was done within the estimated time frame & I was charged  the estimated  price. Mr Stump's workers arrived &  were very professional & did an excellent job with an eye toward asthetics.  After the work was completed an immaculate  clean up was performed.  Though Mr Stump may charge a little more he is well worth it.  I will never have another company provide tree services as long as this company is available.

The tree was tight to the houses so they had to do extra work and lower it branch by branch.   It was close to windows and right over the roofs.  They cut some of the wood for my husband to use for camping firewood if we ever get rain again - but we wanted the rest hauled away.  They chip as much as they can as they cut down.   The big pieces get hualed away later.  They bring in a good sized piece of equipment to grind the stump well below the ground.  They removed my tree stump well below the ground.   I kept the stump grindings as mulch since I needed it really bad in another area.  Even just a stump is a LOT of mulch.  The guy to pick up the big pieces forgot - that did take a reminder call.
Remember to get your lines marked if you are going to get the stump removed as they do go below the ground.   Might not be possible if you have a tree growing next to or around lines/pipes/etc.  It's a pretty intense piece of equipment.
Watch for other estimates including stump removal "to the ground".   Doesn't do you much good.   One other guy gave me a $300 estimate to remove my stump "to the ground".   Mr. Stump (Mike) warned me about that.
Mr. Stump was the lowest estimate, but just barely.  But, I had several estimates - the first of which was $500.00 more than Mr. Stumps.  I would have gone with him if he had not been quite the lowest, though. 
Our Siberian Elm was about a foot and a half to 2 feet across.   Looking at the tree rings from when we moved into the house 10+ years ago - we really should have removed it then.  It was less than half a foot and we knew it had to go.  It would have saved us money and we could have had another one growing in the right spot all that time.

My phone call was returned within 1 hour of leaving a message, and work was scheduled within 1 week of my initial call.  The crew arrived at the agreed-upon time.  They were unable to complete the job in 1 day, but returned promptly the next morning to gather debris from the felled tree, as well as some other scrub brush debris from other areas of the yard.  All work was as-agreed and to my satisfaction.

A lot of the people that have been around a long time used him; he is wonderful.  He is just top of the Earth.  He has been around for a long time and does a nice job.  He is very knowledgeable.  He used to bill me instead of asking for it right away.  I love everybody that works for him.  He is wonderful and he is always here when he says he is going to be here.  He is just great.

Mark is very polite , as are his personnel.  Good job, constant communication about when they could come do the job. Thorough clean up. Fair price, we feel . This is our second time using this company. We did not bother with another quote.

Mark called before they came, and he remembered my schedule constraints and made an effort to work with me.
They had to take down a fence section to get to my elm stumps. They were considerate of my garden and didn't stomp all over everything, and were careful with my old fence.

They ground down the stumps at least 10" and left me the nice mulch. They consulted with me about an obstruction they found by another stump, and we discussed it. They were very careful, polite and tidy.

I will use them again to take down some more trees later in the year, and remove the stumps. Not every company grinds stumps that deeply, so it's an important consideration when you are comparing contractors.

Came over immediately to give estimate. He was working in the neighborhood. Scheduled very quickly. Work very quickly and professionally done. Had own heavy duty chipper shredder. Clean up was very thorough , something you don't always see. Very polite owner and crew. Would highly recommend , and he does not charge an arm and a leg.
