I got several bids from different companies but chose Highlands not only because they had a competitive bid, but because of their friendly and professional customer service and incredibly quick response time. Jessica always answered my questions (no matter how often I asked or how nit picky I would get) promptly, thoroughly, and with a good-natured helpful attitude. The work was started within a week of my signing the contract and they had the roof completed in 3 days. My roof is steep with several dormers and a cupola-type structure, so this was not an easy job. The crew was skilled and thoroughly cleaned up after the job was complete, even down to using a magnet to get nails and a leaf blower to clean off debris from my deck and walkways. They even washed the siding where old shingles that had dropped down left a mark. Robert Colodny (the owner) was here several times a day to be sure the work was done to his specifications and to answer any questions or concerns I might have had. He was very responsive and easy to talk to, putting things in terms I could understand. Everybody was professional, hard-working, and committed to doing a good job. My roof looks great and I highly recommend Highlands Roofing!

The owner worked with our insurance company.
They had to work with a lot of rain this spring.
We had our choice of color. The material was ordered right away.
The first chance they could, they were on our roof getting it done.
Everyone was very responsive whenever we called.
So far, so good.
We are very happy.

Since there had been a major weather event, every roofer west of the Mississippi was calling and stopping by my house unsolicited offering "free estimates". I preferred to deal with someone local who was not banging down my door, so I called Highlands Roofing. Geri came over to my house within a day or so. There was no need for an inspection since my insurance had already said the whole thing needed replaced. She was so knowledgable and answered all my questions. One thing to note is that Highlands has a permanent crew. They don't bring in untrained temporary workers to install the roof that protects one of your biggest assets. Within a week of contracting, I had a new roof. Robert supervised the installation and went above and beyond to make sure all of the leaks I had with the original roof were taken care of. His crew kept my yard and driveway clean and they were polite and friendly. I was so pleased with my new roof, the entire process was a breeze. I referred Highlands to several friends and contracted them to install another roof for me, this time a replacement roof on a rental home nearby. Again, superior service, excellent application, quick and easy process. I really appreciate a contractor who does exactly what he says he's going to do.
