There could not be a better contractors in Southern Colorado. Everything was done not only on time and within budget but also to the highest degree of finish and professionalism.

Complete basement finish from design to completed job, about 2600 sq ft. Chris was very responsive and spent plenty of time with us going over the design then options and talking through choices. We were very happy with his team throughout the job. Communication during the project was excellent and Chris was on site frequently. Tommy is very skillful and did an outstanding job throughout but most particularly on a beam of reclaimed wood. It has become the statement piece of the basement. Not the cheapest option but well worth every penny. Attention to detail is superb. We are very happy with the finished product, everyone who has seen is is impressed. We would definitely hire them again.

From the initial meeting to the very end, the Everlasting Homes crew was the the definition of professional. During the entire process, Chris would take the time to listen to our ideas and bend over backwards to get them done. Having a $110,000 project was scary, so Chris dedicated countless amounts of hours to helping us with design and implementation. When making a mistake could cost you thousands, its reassuring to know that you have a contractor that will sit with you throughout the process. When making changes, Chris will work with you and stick to his word. Everlasting homes prides themselves on honesty, craftsmanship, and professionalism. Even after final payment, Chris and crew goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and satisfied with your basement. This is what a $100k plus basement should look like. Absolutely custom!

I knew early on that I didn't want the contractor who built my new home to finish the basement. I made a list of researched contractors and Chris was my first call. After speaking with him on the phone, I didn't even need to call anyone else. Chris and his entire team, from vendors to subcontractors, were fantastic. An absolute fantastic job from an incredible crew of professionals. Chris and his extraordinary team not only met our expectations, but they surpassed them. Chris' involvement started on day one during the in-home consultation and I was amazed to see him downstairs so frequently with his sleeves rolled up. Chris and his crew did an amazing job. For the basement, he created the perfect plan for using our space--way better than a competitor's proposed layout. When it came to build quality, everything was perfect--framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc. I'm not doing this review justice, but what I think really set Everlasting Homes apart is in the details. The reclaimed wood he recommended, and we used, is unique and perfect for our basement color & style. The way they did the tile was awesome. The painting throughout the home was flawless. The Murphy door they built is really cool. When we discovered various issues--like the stairs to the basement weren't square with the basement walls--they reworked the walls to make the walls square. Chris and his crew are perfectionists; no detail was overlooked. I can't recommend Everlasting Homes--Chris the owner, Tommy the foreman, Tommy's apprentice Caleb, and Clyde & his son the painters, enough. We feel like we have a whole new home. Our only "problem" now (aside from having to furnish all that new space) is that our upstairs bathrooms--which we didn't have them remodel--now look junky in comparison to the basement they did. I have a feeling we'll be calling them, once we can afford to have them come out again.

From our first meeting with Chris we were impressed with professional, but approachable manner. He designed the perfect space and made brilliant suggestions. Our calls were promptly returned. We felt like part of a team effort. The crew was respectful of our home and we trusted them in it. We would welcome everyone back. Everlasting Homes made us enjoy and love a space that had long been just a place to store things. They will have an everlasting place in our home and hearts.

I would definitely recommend using Everlasting Homes. Chris and Tommy were great. Chris was super helpful from the very first phone call. They finished our basement for us and it took less than two months and it looks amazing! All the guys that came out were respectful and knew what they were doing. They actually came and went out of the window in the basement which was awesome because we have new carpet in the house that I didn't want people walking on. Chris kept me up to date with what was going on through the whole process and my basement looks awesome! They did great tile work. We are very happy with their work and will be using them again!

Thanks to Chris H. and EH I have virtually a brand new home transformed from a 1980's low-end tract house 'chic' into an updated 21st century home that anyone would be proud to own. The ENTIRE upstairs was remodeled w/many upgrades and additions to include a redesigned kitchen (Decora cabinets, Quartz countertops, new tile flooring w/signature listel) and dining room (added butler's pantry for more storage capacity and a 'touch' of elegance w/Decora cabinets and so on like the kitchen); remodeled bathroom (everything new!), bedrooms, foyer with updated trim, paint, carpet, tile, custom doors & hardware, new electric outlets etc. I couldn't be more pleased! You can't go wrong with Chris H. and EH. Chris is a gifted visionary when it comes to designing and building (remodeling, too) custom homes. He is a perfectionist and will not settle for second best workmanship in any remodel or custom home project. Chris is the total package...a creative, trustworthy and honest contractor (how rare is that!) whose completed product(s) will more than surpass a client's expectations. **I liked so much the finished basement that Chris H. and EH completed earlier in 2016, that I just had to see what they could do with the rest of my house. I am so glad I made Chris H. and EH my choice for the upstairs remodel.

Chris Harper and his crew at Everlasting Homes have been a blessing to our home! We discussed having our basement finished 6 years ago when we first moved in, and could have never imagined that the outcome would be so amazing. From the very beginning, Chris was able to meet with us the day after we requested an estimate. He gave us professional, honest and trustworthy suggestions about how we could finish our small basement. His ideas were miles ahead of his competition, and we greatly appreciated the way that he drew up a plan that he would consider for his own home (instead of planning for extras just to build up the price). We loved the way that he found creative ways to add those special touches to our basement plan that will make our living space stand out from others. The quote Chris gave us from the beginning was what we ended up paying in the end; there were no added or hidden expenses and everything was clearly explained in the contract. Chris consistently made us feel as if we were his star clients - our questions were answered immediately, he checked in routinely, and he put as much effort and creativity into our modest basement as he would have in a million dollar home. We can't say enough great things about our experience with Chris. We were thoroughly impressed with how quickly the entire project moved, from start to finish (the final walk-through was 2 weeks earlier than we expected!). His team was courteous, respectful, and meticulous. There were days we didn't even realize they had been working below us! We are so impressed with the final product. Our new basement feels amazing - like a true extension of our house. They were able to match the look and the feel of the upstairs part of the house, so well, that you'd never know you were in a basement, had you not just walked down a flight of stairs! Our overall experience with Chris and Everlasting Victorians was amazing. We had limited space with numerous obstacles (butrresses). We were bound to design the basement around these obstacles and expected to take concessions based on the space limitations. However, Chris designed a basement that not only hid the buttresses, but actually made the space feel bigger. Construction began immediately and his entire crew was professional throughout the job which was finished well ahead of schedule. But what's most notable about this company is something that words cannot properly capture-- the quality of work. Our basement is the star of our house. Our finished basement is not just an exercise of space utilization in an otherwise baron space below the house. Rather, if one didn't know any better, they would think the house was originally designed and built with and around the finished basement. The price of this job was higher than we expected a basement to cost. However, looking at the finished product, I know we got the best guy in Colorado for the job. From the stonework to the door knobs, everything is perfect. I'm convinced the attention and care Chris put into every square inch of our basement is the same level of attention and care he would put into his own. When you add that together with his vision and level of skill, what you get is far beyond what you can imagine. You can find several contractors to finish your basement, but if you want the best, hire Everlasting Victorians.

It went great!  Chris worked with us from the start reviewing inspiration articles and tailoring desires into a custom plan.  Work was done per plan with no surprises.  Dealt with unforeseen issues that always arise with a remodel and modified plan after discussion with us.  Final detail and finishing was perfect.  Cleanup well and completely done.  No problems/no issues at all.  We're happy!

Everlasting Victorians completed my unfinished basement. They had creative workarounds for some difficult aspects of my basement. They had good communication, and their work was of highest quality. The pricing was transparent, and they didn't cut any corners on materials or labor. Very please with the final product, and would use them again in the future.

This company is very professional and gets the work done right the first time. I have several projects that they are working on and each one of them is golden when they finish it. Best work in town hands down. They are able to accomplish any task that you will ever need completed in your home.

EV and Chris H transformed my small, unfinished basement area into spacious-looking, even elegant rooms. Attention to detail was the key along with EV's signature, exceptional tile work. To match my updated "new"basement, it looks like I will be contacting EV for an upstairs remodel estimate in the very near future. Chris and his team were great throughout the entire process.  They helped me to design a basement that would be perfect for my family and I.  Chris and I laid out the plans and he and his team executed them perfectly.  He also provided me with insight as the process was taking place and offered recommendations to help make the process easier. 















Chris and his team also went well beyond a business relationship with me.  They actually shoveled water out of my window wells when a strong rain came through and threatened to flood my basement.  They exceeded expectations and truly showed how much they cared for my family and I.  We were not treated as customers, but as friends.  I was very pleased with the communication, which occurred on a daily basis and I felt that I was being valued throughout the process.  They also used only high quality materials and none of the "builder grade" stuff.

My basement had been unfinished for 2 years since I purchased a brand new 2-story house.  I had done a lot of research on the internet for finishing basement, and I concluded hiring a reliable contractor is the most important thing for the success in the project. I picked three contractors based on their reputation in the internet, and I got the estimates from them. Everlasting Victorians was not the cheapest, but I chose them because Chris left a good impression in the first meeting.  As I expected, we could complete this basement project successfully. Chris, the owner and the project manager, has responded quickly to my questions during the project. I got an impression that he is honest and he always does his best to satisfy his customers.  Not only basement, but also we had them replace a door and install closet shelves in the upper stairs. My wife loves the new shelves. I would recommend Everlasting Victorians to anyone who wants to have beautiful basement. Now, we love our basement, and my kids are happy when they play in the basement.
