My experience with them was horrible. They give no hint that they understand customer service or care about customer concerns. I ordered a new front door in March 2019 and did not get a satisfactory installation until April 2020, 13 months later! The first door was badly flawed, and I had to have them look at the door three times before anyone took any action. This took several weeks. I would call for someone to come out to look at the door, wait a week or so, and have to call again. Then when someone did come out and promised a course of action, I’d wait again for several weeks until I had to call them back to hear that someone else needed to see the problem. They did not measure the original door correctly, so the door they provided was not build correctly to fill the space left by the old door. The installation team had to add trim to cover the gap. Clearview promised an installation that would not require any finishing on my part, but failed to provide the correct indoor trim, again after multiple calls and many weeks to get them to act. They tried to deliver a replacement door that was also flawed, chipped and scratched. It was the third door that finally was OK. Their consistent dodge for my complaints was to blame the manufacturer, but the manufacturer was not who I bought the door from nor the ones whom I had to pester to pay attention to the deficiencies.

"I am disappointed that the Homeowner gave us a D rating. I called the homeowner and she declined to speak with me, so I could not resolve any issues she may have had. I note that the rating was submitted in June of 2015. We sold and installed three windows and one patio door, completing the work in Oct. of 2014 within 4-5 weeks of taking the order which is normal for this busy time of the year. I have researched our Service files and can find no record of requested service subsequent to the installation . I have reviewed the project with our Sales staff and Service staff and they have no recollection of any issues. We request that our customers complete a Job Completion Report where they are requested to rate our performance and identify any issues. If the Customer completes a report it is retained in the Job File. We have no Report on file, suggesting the customer did not submit a Report I wish I could comment on why one year after the project was complete a D rating was submitted. As a full service dealer we continue to stand behind our work and are prepared to rectify and product or installation deficiencies that may be reported to us by this Homeowner. We do encourage our customers to tell us how we are doing, so that we can correct any issues and improve our performance going forward. John LeNeveu President"

Simple as pie.
1. Wife and I decided to update the 1985 vintage, builder's special (i.e. cheap) windows on our house.
2. We looked around, checked with several different windows providers. After a recommendation from a friend we contacted Clearview here in Monument.
3. We went into their showroom and selected the Milgard Tuscany series.
4. Clearview set up a time, came out, and measured all of our windows and presented us with a fair price.
5. We scheduled the install to happen 6 weeks later and on the scheduled day their crew, ripped out the old windows and put in the new. While they had scheduled a one arrived installation a problem arose with the sliding glass door which required extra work and hardware. They ate the extra cost and finished the next day.
6. Since then both my wife and I have been very pleased with the windows. Our heating bills are less in the winter and the morning cool in the summer stays longer; making the house more tolerable.
We would definitely go Clearview again on another house.

The windows are high quality and a definite improvement over the previous ones. The installers were very friendly and the installation went smoothly. We would consider Clearview for any future window needs.

Once the windows were ordered there was a short delay beyond the expected arriaval; however, it all worked out. I would definitely recommend Clearview to bid and install windows for my neighbors.

They were very helpful in what to put in the barn and timely with the order. They offered and did hold the windows for us in their warehouse until our contractor was ready to put them in. They suggested this so that the windows would not get accidentally broken should they sit around in the work area too long. The barn is done and they look and function well.
We are having them come and replace the glass in some of our windows in our home this September. They gave us a great contractor to help first look at our current windows and have them reset them and then they will be coming back to determine which glass needs to be replaced. They did not push for new windows but said honestly we should keep the existing windows because the frames were in good shape just some oxidation (they are aluminum clad) and good car wax will help bring back the color. We like this company. We called two other companies and they said they would not consider our project unless we bought new windows. Zach with Clearview gave us good suggestions with our window situation that proved to be very helpful with the contractor.

We highly recommend them.

Great. They are such picky installers. I love working with them. They will make sure it's right. Also they are happy to come back for adjustments if anything gets out of whack after being used for a while. Just excellent overall.

Pricing was comparable to other estimates. Were on time, completed work in time frame estimated, quality was good.

Clearview did a fantastic job from start to finish. They came on time for our bid appointment. Very professional in developing and explaining their bid. The crew were great guys. They were not the lowest price, but we went with them because of comments I had read from other clients on Angie's List and a recommendation from a good friend who is a general contactor. After ordering the windows and they came in on time, they then installed the windows with quality in 5 days. Excellent craftmanship was exhibited. I thought they would have problems since the old wood windows were not in good shape but they knew what they were doing and it showed in the speed and quality of the installation. Had one small issue with one window (the glass was a bit wavy), but Clearview and Milgard is replacing that glass with no hassles. Already have noticed the drafitness in the house is gone down and the furnace not running as long on cold nights. Would recommend Clearview highly.

As these were "new construction" (not "replacement") windows, each old window had to be torn out all the way to the framing 2X4s in the wall, including cutting out the exterior siding around the framing. Once each new window was installed with proper nailing sealing, the installers had to fabricate wood trim around the window on both the inside and outside. The job was so labor intensive that replacing each window took 2 to 4 hours.
I needed to have these windows installed by the end of 2010 in order to take advantage of a $1500 tax credit. Unfortunately for me, so did thousands of other homeowners....so the factory was majorly backlogged (delivery time was 10 weeks instead of the expected 6 weeks) and the installation team was badly overworked and fatigued.
Nonetheless, the windows did arrive with almost no defects (just one improperly located latch...which the installer was able to relocate) and the installers demonstrated excellent craftsmanship throughout the 3 days needed to install all 9 windows.
The installers were quite good about putting down drop cloths to collect most of the tear out debris and not tracking in dirt mud...actually, very good considering the time pressures they were working under and the weather (cold, snowy and muddy). The house only needed a thorough vacuuming and dusting when they were done.
I was promised these windows had a "lifetime" warranty...which I tested about 2 months after installation: the inner pane of one window developed a stress crack. I called Clearview and was promptly connected with their warranty guy, Zack. I explained the details of how the crack occurred and, without having to have an on-site visit to verify my claim, he said he'd get a replacement sealed glass unit (all 3 panes sealed together as a kind of capsule) from Milgard...which would take 4~6 weeks. About a month later, Zack called me back to tell me the replacement unit had arrived and set up a 2 hour window for the replacement install. The replacement installer showed up right on time and used careful craftsmanship in replacing the glass inside the framing. I could not have been happier with this warranty work.
Even despite the pressures to get hundreds of replacements done before the end of 2010 so I (and other homeowners) could take advantage of the energy tax credit, I feel that Clearview did a very good job and their after sales warranty work was exemplary.
I can definitely can recommend them.

Happy with results and process. Unlike previous company we had give an estimate, the estimator, installer, sales, and followup personnel were professional, no pressure, no typical sales tactics, on time.

Excellent experience! The installers were puntual and professional and did a high-quality job. There are certainly cheaper companies out there, but getting a high-quality window with trusted, high-quality installation and a life-time warranty from Milgard was worth the extra money.

We had excellent results with them. The workers did an excellent job. We paid the price that we were quoted. They cleaned up after themselves.
