WHITEY'S HOME IMPROVEMENT

"This job was completed 11 years ago! (removed member name) has sold this home and moved. We completed this job on December 4, 2002. (removed member name) posted his review January 2013. When we completed the work (removed member name) inspected the work and signed a Completion Certificate that he was satisfied with both the workmanship and the materials. We filled out and mailed (removed member name) his warranty papers pertaining to the products we installed on his home. Our Contract clearly states "In accordance with Colorado Law workmanship is warrantied for 1 year from Completion" of the original contract. Our contract also specifically states "Within 10 days after discovery of any defect in either workmanship or materials buyer shall send complete written details to us." (removed member name) never sent us anything. Most customer just call us and we go out at no charge and see what the problem might be. Over the years (removed member name) has contacted us by phone when he had a question or concernn. I personally went out and look at his concerns myself. Everytime he had a concern and notified us, we went out. We have signed completions by (removed member name) when we completed the service work at no cost to him. His statement that we did not follow up is false and we have the signed completions for the service work we did for him. We enter all phone calls in our computer answering system so we can track each call. We have not received a call from (removed member name) in years that he had problems or issues we needed to take care of for him. If he had called we would have gone out and helped him. I have seen both (removed member name) many times throughout the years, visited with them and they never once said they had any issues with the work we had done for them. Whitey's is a family owned business that was started here in the local area in 1947 and we have served the local area for over 66 years.Whitey's would not be in business today if we treated our customers as (removed member name) has stated. We work on an average of over 200 homes a year. We have and A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Whitey's does service what we sell and we always try to help our customers. All they have to do is call us."
