He came highly recommended by a local builder and a friend who had recently had him replace her water heater as well. I had told the friend that Benjamin Franklin plumbing had quoted me $1,500.00 and she redirected me to Troy Johnson. Troy Johnson's work was top notch. The price included the new water heater, removal of the old water heater and installation of the new one.

Troy Johnson Plumbing is very efficient, professional in installation work, and reasonable on price. It took about 4 days to schedule the work as it was not an emergency. We purchased a top quality water heater to replace a heater where the hot water flow was very diminished. Mr. Johnson immediately knew that the problem was likely incompatible fittings on the original hot water heater, causing a buildup of minerals restricting the flow. He removed the old heater, and installed a 50 gallon Rheim heater and replaced the fittings with copper. He also re-installed a free standing sink after we had new tile put into a bathroom. The sink needed to be re-plumbed because it sat higher on the floor. On both jobs he finished the job quickly, and cleaned up afterward. We were very happy with the finished work, and satisfied with the price charged. The two jobs took 3.5 hours. Of the total, about $275 was for labor and the balance was for the water heater, other parts, and tax. We will use Troy Johnson Plumbing again when needed.
