If you are thinking of doing business with “The Mooving Company” PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL before deciding to use their services. Here is my story:
My elderly parents used their services and it cost them dearly. My folks were moving from Montrose. CO. to Florida. They hired this company to move their furniture and other household items. They also hired them to move their Camry Hybrid car and sell furniture and more with their consignment group.
Their Camry, very new and in perfect condition was damaged during transit and these guys refused to do the right thing and reimburse my folks for the damage. The passenger side quarter panel, the rear bumper and the muffler were damaged …possibly while loading and unloading on the carrier trailer twice.
The furniture moving employee shows up in Florida with no helper and no moving equipment. Not real smart! So the guy picks up their couch and tries to move it by himself. He bangs the couch against three walls and finally I had to yell at the guy and tell him to stop damaging my folk’s furniture. Extremely unprofessional !
So, thus far … The Mooving Company has damaged my folk’s car and some of their furniture. The only thing left for them to mess up is selling my folks items on consignment and the jury is still out on how successful that will be. It’s been six months and they have received just a small portion of what their items should have sold for.
Heed my words before hiring “The Mooving Company”.
