I've gotten good service from them. I have a constant-pressure water system in my house, with a well and a cistern. (1) Earlier they replaced a water tank inside the house that had started leaking. (2) This time they diagnosed and fixed a problem where the cistern pump would run every minute or so even though no water was being used. After some experimentation they determined that there was a small leak in the water line from the cistern to the house. This kind of problem is almost impossible to find and fix without digging up the line, but they were able to fix the pump running by adding a check valve inside the house.

They came out on a Sunday, diagnosed the issue, and settled the problem very quickly. They came back later that week, installed the new equipment, and everything is working perfectly.

Great. Everything is working perfectly and it is a nice upgrade. The price was higher than what they quoted but that's because the piping was in much worse shape when they pulled it out of the well. They decided to replace it all for me and then let me know that I could pay what I thought was fair. You can't get better than that.

On Saturday evening the water stopped flowing. I looked into the outside cistern and saw it was full of water, so the well itself was OK. When I checked the well and pressure-pump control breakers, one had tripped off. I tried to reset it, but it flashed and popped off again. Very disturbing. I figured the pump had burnt out and called John's Well Service at 8am the next morning. They arrived in 90 minutes, and quickly discovered flood-damage -- Wet mud and silt had gotten into an underground wiring box and shorted out the well-pump wiring connections. One look and I was preparing for an all-day job and a $1000 repair bill. But these guys figured out the muddy wiring hornets nest (wiring for 2 pumps and 2 control switches, plus old unused wiring) and fixed it in 1 hour. Very impressive work, and very honest. They could have soaked me for a huge re-wiring job. But instead they simply cleaned up the mess, re-spliced all the connections, and fixed the short. Frankly, I give these folks an A++. The are the very best. I have used them in the past and never been disappointed nor overcharged. Even when I had an expensive well-pump replacement job, they charged a fair price.

JWS sent a guy out to check out the well at a house I was buying. The report originally had some confusing information because the field guy got his papers mixed up, but they corrected it promptly and were very responsive. After I bought the house, they were prompt in responding to my need to cure the repairs they discovered. They have not yet completed the repair work, but I am very impressed with Mike's responsiveness.

They installed a complicated pump system for a farm irrigation system and we have been very happy with the result.
