We contracted with Alexander Molkentin of FernHill Build Studios LLC (also goes by AM Supply LLC) to complete a major renovation of our home. Alex lied about having secured necessary permits from Boulder County; the applications were never filed, and application fees never paid. When confronted, Alex lied and said that his subcontractors were to blame, then claimed that we had "ok'd the work without a permit". To this day, our heated floors are still not operational, repairs to our basement floor were not completed, and an insufficient exhaust system installed in the bathroom fails to completely clear the steam from a shower, exposing us to the risk of mold. Alex refuses to respond to respond to complete the job or to resolve the permitting issue.
